2012–13 Leicester City F.C. Season
The 2012–13 season was Leicester City F.C.'s 108th season in the English football league system and their 61st (non-consecutive) season in the second tier of English football. It was their fourth consecutive season in the Football League Championship, Championship. Leicester began with a promising first half of the season and sat in second place at the beginning of February. However, a dramatic downturn in form which saw the Foxes win just 2 of their following 16 games saw Leicester not only drop out of the automatic promotion places, but the play-offs as well and they began the final game of the season against local rivals Nottingham Forest F.C., Nottingham Forest in eighth place. The Foxes won 2–3 with a dramatic late winner from Anthony Knockaert, and coupled with Bolton Wanderers F.C., Bolton Wanderers failing to win, Leicester took the final play-off spot and finished sixth. Hinckley is a market town in south-west Leicestershire, England. It is administered by Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council. Hinckley is the third largest settlement in the administrative county of Leicestershire, after Leicester and Loughborough. Hinckley is about halfway between Leicester and Coventry and borders Nuneaton in Warwickshire. Watling Street forms part of the Hinckley/Nuneaton border and the two towns are contiguous. Ben Marshall (footballer)
Ben Marshall (born 29 March 1991) is an English footballer, and former professional, who plays for West Lancashire Division One side Stoneclough. He normally plays as a winger or right back. Born in Salford, Marshall began his career as a youth player with Manchester United. He joined Crewe Alexandra in 2003. He went professional in 2009, with Stoke City, but struggled to break into the first team and went on loan to four clubs. In 2012, he made permanent transfer on deadline day to Leicester City. After only one season with Leicester, he moved to Blackburn Rovers in 2013. After seasons with Blackburn, he signed for Wolverhampton Wanderers on 31 January 2017. Westley Nathan Morgan (born 21 January 1984) is a former professional footballer who made over 750 professional appearances as a defender for Nottingham Forest, Leicester City and the Jamaican national team, as well as a brief loan spell at Kidderminster Harriers.
