2012–13 Hamburger SV Season
The 2012–13 Hamburger SV season was the 125th season in the club's football history. In 2012–13 the club played in the Bundesliga, the top tier of German football. It was the club's 50th season in this league, being the only club to have played every season in the Bundesliga since its introduction in 1963. The club finished seventh in the Bundesliga and also took part in the 2012–13 edition of the DFB-Pokal, the German Cup, where it was knocked out in the first round by third division side Karlsruher SC. Hamburger Sport-Verein e.V. (), commonly known as Hamburger SV () or Hamburg (), is a German sports club based in Hamburg, with its largest branch being its football section. TSV 1860 Rosenheim is a German association sport club from the town of Rosenheim, Bavaria. The origins of the club are in the establishment of the gymnastics club and community fire brigade ''Freiwillige Turnerfeuerwehr Rosenheim'' on 20 October 1860. The Ziller Valley (german: Zillertal) is a valley in Tyrol, Austria that is drained by the Ziller River. It is the widest valley south of the Inn Valley (german: Inntal) and lends its name to the Zillertal Alps, the strongly glaciated section of the Alps in which it lies.
