2012–13 GCC Champions League
The GCC Champions League ( ar, دوري أبطال الخليج للأندية), is an annually organized football league tournament for club of the Arabian Peninsula. The 2013 edition is the 28th edition and will feature clubs from Saudi Arabia for the first time since the 2009–10 Gulf Club Champions Cup. Groups Four groups of three teams. Top two from each group qualify for the one legged quarter finals with group winners hosting the matches. 1 Al Hala replaced Al Wasl FC, Al-Wasl after the group stage draw was completed. The Asian Football Confederation is the governing body of association football, beach soccer, and futsal in some countries/territories in Asia and Oceania. It has 47 member countries most of which are located in Asia. Australia, formerly in Oceania Football Confederation, OFC, joined AFC in 2006. Al-Faisaly FC (Harmah)
Al-Faisaly FC ( ar, نادي الفيصلي) is a Saudi Arabian football team playing in the Saudi Professional League, based in Harmah City with a population of around 15,000 people. The club is named after King Faisal (r. 1964–75); he was crown prince at the time of the club's founding. History Al-Faisaly finished as the runner-up in the 2005–06 first division season, thus becoming the first club from the Sudair region to achieve promotion to the top flight but went straight back down after just one season. Al-Faisaly achieved promotion for the second time to the top flight by winning the 2009-10 first division title, and have been competing in the Saudi Professional League until they were relegated in the 2021–22 campaign after twelve consecutive seasons in the top flight. Saleh Abdulhameed Saleh Mohamed Mahmeedi ( ar, صالح عبد الحميد صالح محمد محميدي; born 4 August 1982) is a Bahraini professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Bahraini club Busaiteen Club. He made 31 appearances for the Bahrain national team. Club career In the 2005–06 season, Abdelhameed played for Al-Najma. In September 2007, Abdulhameed moved to Kuwaiti club Al-Nasr on loan from Al-Najma. In January 2009, Al-Najma sent him on loan to Al-Raed in Saudi Arabia; Abdulhameed became the first player from Bahrain to play in the Saudi Professional League. Abdulhameed joined Al-Muharraq in the 2011–12 season, helping them win the 2012 GCC Champions League, Al-Muharraq's first title. He stayed until the 2018–19 season. Christian Ulf "Chippen" Wilhelmsson (; born 8 December 1979) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a winger. Al Majma'ah ( ar, المجمعة) is a city and a governorate in Ar Riyad Province, Saudi Arabia. It is located at around , and it is the capital of the Sudair region.
