FC Zürich
Fussballclub Zürich, commonly abbreviated to FC Zürich or simply FCZ, is a Swiss football club based in Zürich. The club was founded in 1896 and has won the Swiss Super League 13 times and the Swiss Cup 10 times. The most recent titles are the 2022 Swiss Super League and the 2018 Swiss Cup. The club plays its home games at the Letzigrund, which reaches a capacity of 26,000 spectators for league games. FC Zürich is the only Swiss team to have reached the semi-finals of the European Cup more than once. This happened in 1964 and 1977, when the competition was played in its original format. The women's department features a 1st team playing in the Swiss Women's Super League, the only existing women's U21 team in Switzerland (competing in the top ranks of second tier Nationalliga B), and furthermore a U19, U17, U15 and U14 team. AFG Arena
The Kybunpark, formerly known as AFG Arena, is a multi-use stadium in St. Gallen, Switzerland, completed in 2008. It is used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and hosts the home matches of FC St. Gallen of the Swiss Super League. It replaces the Espenmoos stadium. The stadium has a capacity of 20,000 people. Between 2008 and 2016 the stadium was named after the sponsor Arbonia-Forster-Gruppe (AFG). In July 2016 the name was changed to Kybunpark. When it was completed, FC St. Gallen had just been relegated to the Swiss Challenge League, Challenge League. The first match in the new stadium was played on 30 May 2008 when Switzerland won against Liechtenstein 3:0 (18,000 spectators). The official inauguration was held on 5 July 2008. Džengis Čavušević
Džengis Čavušević (born 26 November 1987) is a retired Slovenian footballer who played as a striker. Club career Čavušević moved to St. Gallen after playing three seasons for Wil 1900 in the Swiss Challenge League. In July 2016 he signed a two-year contract with FC Zürich. In December 2017 the contract was terminated by mutual consent. On 6 February 2018, Čavušević joined Australian club Adelaide United until the end of the season. Not long into his time at Adelaide, he suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). He was released at the end of the season and subsequently retired from professional football. Ilija Ivić (Serbian Cyrillic: Илија Ивић; born 17 February 1971) is a Serbian former professional footballer who played as a striker. A skillful attacker who showed great technical ability, Ivić could often be found in a supporting attacking role, opening up spaces for teammates. Anatole Cédric Roméo Ngamukol (born 15 January 1988) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for club Paris 13 Atletico. Born in France, he has received call-ups to teams representing the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Equatorial Guinea in the past.
