2012–13 Big 12 Conference Men's Basketball Season
The 2012–13 Big 12 men's basketball season began with practices in October 2012, followed by the start of the regular-season in November. Conference play began in early January 2013 and concluded in March with the 2013 Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament at the Sprint Center in Kansas City. This was the first season in the Big 12 for two former Mountain West and Big East teams, as the TCU Horned Frogs and the West Virginia Mountaineers, respectively, played their first seasons in the conference. TCU Horned Frogs Men's Basketball
The TCU Horned Frogs men's basketball team represents Texas Christian University, located in Fort Worth, Texas, in NCAA Division I men's basketball competition. United Supermarkets Arena (previously the United Spirit Arena) is a multipurpose arena on the campus of Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Ferrell Center
The Paul J. Meyer Arena, which is part of the Ferrell Center, is an arena in Waco, Texas. Built in 1988 and located adjacent to the Brazos River, it is home to the Baylor University Bears basketball and volleyball teams. It is named for Charles R. Ferrell, a Baylor student and legacy who died in 1967, and whose family's estate was a major benefactor of the arena. The building replaced the Heart O' Texas Coliseum as the school's primary indoor athletic facility. Amadou-Amath M'Baye (born 14 December 1989) is a French professional basketball player for Anadolu Efes of the Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL) and EuroLeague. Myck Lukusa Kabongo (born January 12, 1992) is a Congolese-Canadian professional basketball player who plays for the Cape Town Tigers of the Basketball Africa League (BAL).
