2012 Women's Hockey Investec Cup
The 2012 Investec London Cup was a women's field hockey tournament held at the Quintin Hogg Memorial Sports Ground. It took place between 5–9 June 2012 in Chiswick, England. A total of six teams competed for the title. The Netherlands won the tournament by defeating Australia 4–1 in the final. Germany won the bronze medal by defeating South Africa 6–2 in the third and fourth playoff, while Great Britain finished 5th by defeating Ireland 3–0. Marilyn Agliotti (born 23 June 1979 in Boksburg, South Africa) is a field hockey player from the Netherlands, having previously represented South Africa. After her move to the Netherlands and award of a Dutch passport, she represented the Dutch national team. Naomi Van As
Naomi van As (born 26 July 1983) is a Dutch field hockey player who plays as a forward/midfield for a Dutch club MHC Laren. She made her debut for the Netherlands national team on 20 June 2003 in a game against South Africa. She was a part of the Dutch squad that became world champions at the 2006 Women's Hockey World Cup which also won the 2007 Champions Trophy. Her family lives in South Africa. Pietie Coetzee
Pietie Coetzee (born 2 September 1978) is a field hockey player from South Africa who was born in Bloemfontein. she studied at the Rand Afrikaans University in Johannesburg, Gauteng, and represented her country at the 2000, 2004 and 2012 Summer Olympics. A striker, Coetzee played club hockey with Amsterdam, Netherlands in the late 1990s. She made her international senior debut for the South African Women's Team in 1995 against Spain during the Atlanta Challenge Cup in Atlanta, Georgia. She was named the ''South African Hockey Player of the Year'' in 1997 and in 2002. Penalty Shoot-out
The penalty shootout is a method of determining a winner in sports matches that would have otherwise been drawn or tied. The rules for penalty shootouts vary between sports and even different competitions; however, the usual form is similar to penalty shots in that a single player takes one shot on goal from a specified spot, the only defender being the goalkeeper. Emily Maguire (field Hockey)
Emily Maguire (born 17 December 1987 in Glasgow) is a Scottish international field hockey player who plays as a defender. She represented Great Britain at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She competed for the national team in the women's tournament, winning a bronze medal. With over 150 international caps, she also represented Scotland at the 2010 and 2014 Commonwealth Games Maguire helped Scotland retain its A division status at the EHF Nations Championship in 2013 and in 2015. In June 2015 she was selected in the victorious Great Britain team at the 2015 Hockey World League Semi Finals which secured qualification for the 2016 Summer Olympics. Hannah Louise Macleod, (born 9 June 1984) is an English field hockey player. Macleod began her youth career at St Ives Hockey Club, Cambridge, and rose up the ranks to play for their first team. She went on to play club hockey for St Albans, Leicester and Loughborough Students. She made her international debut in 2003. She competed for the Great Britain at the 2012 Summer Olympics, helping the team win bronze. Jennifer "Jen" Wilson (born 27 March 1979) is the head coach for Scotland. She is a former South Africa international field hockey player. She was appointed Head Coach for Scotland on a 3 year contract, starting on 1 August 2018.
