The 2012 WPS College Draft took place on January 13, 2012. It was the fourth college draft held by Women's Professional Soccer to assign the WPS rights of college players to the American-based teams. FormatOfficial WPS release
* The 2012 WPS Draft consists of four rounds and 23 picks overall. * Draft order is based on the reverse order of the 2011 regular season standings. * Teams will be allotted three minutes per pick in the first two rounds and five minutes per pick in the second two rounds.

Women's Professional Soccer
Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) was the top-level professional women's soccer league in the United States. It began play on March 29, 2009. The league was composed of seven teams for its first two seasons and fielded six teams for the 2011 season, with continued plans for future expansion. The WPS was the highest level in the United States soccer pyramid for the women's game. On January 30, 2012, the league announced suspension of the 2012 season, citing several internal organization struggles as the primary cause. Some of these issues included an ongoing legal battle with magicJack owner Dan Borislow and the lack of resources invested into the league. On May 18, 2012, WPS announced the league folded and would not return in 2013. Teresa Noyola
Teresa Noyola Bayardo (born 15 April 1990) is a Mexican former footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder. She previously played for the Houston Dash, FC Kansas City, and Seattle Reign FC in the National Women's Soccer League, and for Icelandic club Valur. She has been a member of the Mexico women's national team. She also holds American citizenship. In 2011, she was the recipient of the Hermann Trophy award. Bianca Henninger
Bianca Henninger Moreno (born 22 October 1990) is an American-born Mexican former professional footballer who last played as a goalkeeper for the Houston Dash and the Mexico women's national football team. Early life Henninger attended Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, California where she was an NSCAA All-American in 2006 and 2007. She was named a Parade Magazine All-American in 2007 and 2008. Toni Deion Pressley (born February 19, 1990) is an American professional soccer defender. She previously played for the Orlando Pride, Western New York Flash and Washington Spirit of the NWSL, Ryazan VDV in the Russian Women's Football Championship league, the top division of women's soccer in Russia. Courtney Kathryn "CoCo" Goodson (born June 19, 1990) is an American soccer defender who last played for Sky Blue FC in the National Women's Soccer League. She previously played for FC Twente in the Dutch Eredivisie Vrouwen. Early life Goodson was born in Ramona, California.
