2012 Uzbekistan Cup
The 2012 Uzbekistan Cup is the 20th season of the annual Uzbek football Cup competition. The Cup draw was held on January 25, 2012 in Tashkent. The competition started on 23 March 2012 and ended on 30 November 2012 with the final at the Pakhtakor Markaziy Stadium in Tashkent. FC Pakhtakor are the defending champions. The cup winner were guaranteed a place in the 2013 AFC Champions League. FC Bunyodkor
Football Club Bunyodkor ( uz, Bunyodkor futbol klubi) is an Uzbekistan, Uzbek professional association football, football club based in Tashkent that competes in the Uzbekistan Super League. Bunyodkor, a relatively unknown club at the time, made international headlines when it claimed to be close to signing world-famous FC Barcelona, Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o, although he did not sign with them. On 25 August 2008, AEK Athens FC, AEK Athens Brazilian superstar Rivaldo announced to the Greek press that he was joining Bunyodkor on a reported $14 million two-year contract. The club finished second in the 2007 Uzbek League season and made the semi-finals of the AFC Champions League 2008, 2008 AFC Champions League. In the beginning of August 2008, the club changed its name to ''Bunyodkor'' from PFC Kuruvchi to reflect the club's success on the pitch and its increasing professionalism off the pitch.

Metallurg Bekabad
PFK Metallurg Bekabad ( uz, "Metallurg Bekobod") is an Uzbek football club based in Bekabad. They play in the Uzbekistan Super League. History The club was founded in 1945. Metallurg played in one of the regional zones of Soviet Second League until 1992. Since 1992 club played in Uzbekistan First League. From 1992 to 1993 club was named ''Madanchi''. In 1994 club was renamed to ''Metallurg''. 1997 season club finished as runner-up after Temiryo'lchi and promoted to the Uzbek League. The 2002 season Metallurg ranked at 5th place which is club's highest performance ever. Domestic history Stadium The club has played its matches at Stadium named after A.Anokhin since 1960. Originally the stadium had capacity for 5,000 spectators. In 2009 the reconstruction works started to renovate the stadium. Qizilqum Zarafshon ( uz, Qizilqum Zarafshon futbol klubi, Қизилқум Зарафшон футбол клуби), is an Uzbek professional football club based in Zarafshon. They play in the Uzbekistan Super League. Club is named after the biggest desert in the Central Asia, Qizilqum. Qizilqum in Uzbek literally means ''Red Sands''. History Qizilqum was founded in 1967 under the name ''Progress''. The club changed its name several times and was known as ''Qizilqum'' before becoming known as ''Progress''. Since 1997 it has played as ''Qizilqum''. FC Mash'al Mubarek ( uz, Mashal Muborak professional futbol klubi) is an Uzbek football club based in Mubarek. ''Mash'al'' means a torch. History The club was founded in 1982. Mashʼal played its first years in province league, later in UzSSR league. In 1993 the club started to play in Uzbekistan First League and two years later after 1994 season club gained promotion to Oliy League. In the 2005 season Mashʼal finished runners-up in League after Pakhtakor which is club's highest achievement in history. FC Shurtan Guzar
FC Shurtan Guzar ( uz, Sho'rtan G'uzor professional futbol klubi or Шўртан Ғузор футбол клуби) is an Uzbek football club based in G‘uzor, Uzbekistan. History During its first years the club played in the lower divisions of Uzbekistan. In 2006 FC Shurtan made its debut in the Uzbek League. The 2010 season was the club's most successful season when they finished 4th in the league and were runners-up in the Uzbek Cup. In the quarter-final of the Uzbek Cup they beat Pakhtakor on aggregate and Lokomotiv Tashkent in the semi-final. Shurtan lost in the Final match, played in Tashkent, to Bunyodkor.
