Svenska Supercupen 2012, ''Swedish Super Cup 2012'', was the 6th Svenska Supercupen (women), Svenska Supercupen for women, an annual association football, football match contested by the winners of the previous season's Damallsvenskan and Svenska Cupen (women), Svenska Cupen competitions. The match was played at Malmö IP, Malmö, on 25 March 2012, and was contested by 2011 Damallsvenskan, league winners FC Rosengård, LdB FC Malmö and 2011 Svenska Cupen (women), cup winners Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC. The match was Malmö's second consecutive appearance and Kopparbergs/Göteborg's first in Svenska Supercupen since its creation. Svenska Supercupen was a one-off fixture in Football in Sweden, Swedish football played between the previous season's Damallsvenskan champions and winners of the Svenska Cupen (women), Svenska Cupen. The fixture was played before the start of Damallsvenskan. The first final was played in 2007. In 2014 no Supercup was held, as the Swedish Cup was restructured going from single years to being played summer to summer. FC Rosengård
FC Rosengård, formerly Malmö FF Dam (1970–2007) and LdB FC Malmö (2007–2013), is a professional football club based in Malmö, Scania, Sweden. The team was established as Malmö FF Dam in 1970. It started out with playing 7 seasons in the Swedish Women's Football Division 1, Division 1 (until 1987), but has played in Damallsvenskan in since it formed in 1988. The team has won the league a record twelve times, the latest in 2021. As of the end of the 2015 season, the club ranks first in the overall Damallsvenskan table. Malmö Idrottsplats ("Malmö sports field"), commonly referred to simply as Malmö IP and sometimes as Gamla IP ("The old sports field"), is a stadium in Malmö, Sweden, that is primarily used for association football. As of 2015, it is the home of women's association football club FC Rosengård, currently playing in Damallsvenskan; the men's clubs Malmö FF and IFK Malmö have played there in the past. The stadium is the third largest in Malmö behind Malmö Stadion and Stadion, the current home grounds of IFK Malmö and Malmö FF respectively. The Sweden national football team has played at Malmö IP twice, in 1929 and 1949. Trollhättan () is the 23rd-largest city in Sweden, the seat of Trollhättan Municipality, Västra Götaland County. Svenska Supercupen 2011, ''Swedish Super Cup 2011'', was the 5th Svenska Supercupen, an annual football match contested by the winners of the previous season's Allsvenskan and Svenska Cupen competitions. The match was played at Swedbank Stadion, Malmö, on 19 March 2011, and was contested by league winners Malmö FF and cup winners Helsingborgs IF. The match was Malmö FF's first appearance and Helsingborgs IF's second in Supercupen since its creation. Helsingborgs IF won the match 2–1 after Erik Sundin scored the winning goal in the 90th minute. Damallsvenskan
The Damallsvenskan, Swedish for ''ladies all-Swedish'' and also known as OBOS Damallsvenskan for sponsorship reasons, is the highest division of women's football in Sweden. It is also referred to as the women's Allsvenskan. The term Allsvenskan alone is used to reference the men's division. The division consists of a league of 14 teams. From 2013, the Damallsvenskan began operating on a system of promotion and relegation with the Elitettan. The two lowest placed teams are relegated to the Elitettan, and the two highest placed teams from the Elitettan are promoted in their place. Starting with the 2022 season the league has been expanded from 12 to 14 teams. The first Swedish women's national championship was played in 1973. The 2011 Damallsvenskan was the 39th edition of the premier women's soccer, women's football championship in Sweden, and the 24th season of the Damallsvenskan era. Contested by twelve teams, it ran from 9 April to 15 October 2011. 2010 Damallsvenskan, Defending champion FC Rosengård, LdB FC Malmö won its sixth title with a one-point advantage over Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC, which also repeated as the runner-up, qualifying too for the 2012–13 UEFA Women's Champions League. Umeå IK, Tyresö FF and KIF Örebro followed in the table within a ten points distance. On the other hand, 1985 champion Hammarby IF DFF, Hammarby IF and newly promoted Dalsjöfors GoIF were relegated as the two bottom teams.
