The 2012 Shoot Out (officially the 2012 PartyPoker.com Snooker Shoot Out) was a professional non-ranking snooker tournament that took place between 27 and 29 January 2012 at the Circus Arena in Blackpool, England. It was played under a variation of the standard rules of snooker. Nigel Bond was the defending champion, but he lost in the round one 15–30 against Robert Milkins in a repeat of the 2011 final. Barry Hawkins won the final 1-0 (61–23) against Graeme Dott. 2011 World Seniors Championship
The 2011 World Seniors Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the Wyldecrest Park Homes World Seniors Championship) was a snooker tournament that took place between 5–6 November 2011 at the East of England Showground in Peterborough, England. The age criterion was raised from 40 to 45 compared to 2010. Jimmy White was the defending champion, but he lost in the semi-finals 0–2 against Darren Morgan. Darren Morgan won in the final 2–1 against Steve Davis. During the final Morgan also made the highest break of the tournament, an 86 in the penultimate frame. Alfie Burden
Alfred Burden (born 14 December 1976) is an English professional snooker player from London. Career Burden originally had his eyes set on making a career as a professional footballer, but a badly broken leg curtailed this ambition. He spent a couple of seasons at Arsenal F.C. as a schoolboy apprentice, but was with Swindon Town F.C. at the time of the injury. Burden soon showed he was well above average at snooker and qualified for the World Championship in 1998. He gave Tony Drago a run for his money before losing 8–10. In the 2006–07 season, Burden qualified for the China Open. Ben Woollaston
Ben Woollaston (born 14 May 1987) is an English professional snooker player from Leicester. His sole professional title came at the minor-ranking third Players Tour Championship event in 2011. Woollaston's only ranking event final came at the 2015 Welsh Open, in which he lost to John Higgins. Career Born in Leicester, England, Woollaston began his professional career by playing the Challenge Tour in 2003, at the time the second-level professional tour. Anthony McGill
Anthony McGill (born 5 February 1991) is a Scottish professional snooker player. He is a practice partner of retired snooker player Alan McManus. McGill turned professional in 2010, after finishing fourth in the 2009/2010 PIOS rankings. He won the 2016 Indian Open, after having previously never been beyond the quarter-final stage of a ranking event. Stephen Maguire
Stephen Maguire (born 13 March 1981) is a Scottish professional snooker player. He has won six major ranking tournaments, including the 2004 UK Championship, and has twice since reached the finals of that event. Rory McLeod (snooker Player)
Rory McLeod (born 26 March 1971) is a British-Jamaican professional snooker player. McLeods highest ranking,is 32 in August 2011. He has reached the last 16 in ten ranking tournaments, and his most notable achievement came in 2015, when he won the Ranking Ruhr Open, beating Tian Pengfei in the final. James Warren White (born 2 May 1962) is an English professional snooker player who has won three seniors World titles. Anthony Stephen Hamilton (born 29 June 1971) is an English professional snooker player.
