Ichiro Suzuki
, also known mononymously as , is a Japanese former professional baseball outfielder who played professionally for 28 seasons. He played nine years of his career with the Orix BlueWave of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB), where he began his career, and 14 with the Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball (MLB). After playing the first 12 years of his MLB career for the Mariners, Suzuki played two and a half seasons with the New York Yankees and three with the Miami Marlins. He returned to the Mariners for his final two seasons. In his combined playing time in the NPB and MLB, Suzuki received 17 consecutive selections both as an All-Star and Gold Glove winner, won nine league batting titles, and was named most valuable player (MVP) four times. Seattle Mariners Radio Network
The Mariners Radio Network is the name applied to the radio stations which carry Seattle Mariners baseball games throughout Washington state. Stations are listed by state, then city. All stations broadcast on the AM band unless otherwise noted. The announcers for the 2010 season were Dave Niehaus with play-by-play from the bottom of the fourth through the bottom of the fifth and again from the top of the eighth until the end of the game and Rick Rizzs with play-by-play starting from the top of the first through the top of the fourth and again for the sixth and seventh innings. If the Mariners went to extra innings, Niehaus did the odd innings and Rizzs did the even innings. Niehaus died on November 10, 2010. He is the special assistant to the general manager for the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball (MLB). Jason Matthew Vargas (born February 2, 1983) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Florida Marlins, Seattle Mariners, Los Angeles Angels, Kansas City Royals, New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies. Gary Andrew Carignan (born July 23, 1986) is a former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball for the Oakland Athletics. Thomas Mark Wilhelmsen (born December 16, 1983) is an American former professional baseball relief pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers, and Arizona Diamondbacks. Career Wilhelmsen graduated from Tucson High School, whence he was selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the seventh round (199th overall) of the 2002 MLB Draft. The team finished with a final record of 94–68, claiming first place in the American League West and reaching the postseason for the first time since 2006. David Lee Henderson (July 21, 1958 – December 27, 2015), nicknamed "Hendu", was an American professional baseball player.
