2012 San Antonio Scorpions FC Season
The 2012 San Antonio Scorpions FC season was the club's first season of existence, and first year playing in the North American Soccer League, the second division of the American soccer pyramid. Including the San Antonio Thunder soccer franchise of the original NASL, this was the 3rd season of professional soccer in San Antonio. The Scorpions played at Heroes Stadium in San Antonio. San Antonio Scorpions
The San Antonio Scorpions were an American professional soccer team based in San Antonio, Texas. Founded in 2010, the team made its debut in the North American Soccer League in 2012. The Scorpions played at Toyota Field, a soccer specific stadium that was completed in 2013. The club operated differently from most professional sports clubs in terms of its operating profit. As part of owner Gordon Hartman's Soccer for a Cause, all net profits from Scorpions operations went towards funding Morgan's Wonderland, a wheelchair accessible theme park located in the Longhorn Quarry, next to STAR Soccer Complex and Toyota Field. Silverbacks Park
Atlanta Silverbacks Park is a sports complex in unincorporated DeKalb County, just outside Atlanta, United States that is currently used primarily for soccer. It was formerly the home venue of the Atlanta Silverbacks soccer club, from which the complex gets its name. It is also the home of the Atlanta Rhinos of USA Rugby League, Atlanta Renegades Rugby Club, as well as Rugby ATL of Major League Rugby. Josue Soto
Josue Soto (born January 3, 1989) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for USL League One club Tormenta FC. Career Academy Soto trained with the Houston Dynamo first team in the summers of 2008 and 2010, but he missed 2009 due to injury. He led the Dynamo Academy to the final of 2007 Dallas Cup, where the team lost in a penalty shootout. Soto was the second player to sign with the Dynamo Academy in its first month of existence, and he was announced on January 29, 2007, as one of two permitted players not residing in Dynamo's home territory. Reinaldo Marcelino Navia Amador (born 10 May 1978) is a retired Chilean footballer. Navia was a member of the Chile national squad that competed in the 2000 Summer Olympics at Sydney, making an offensive duo with the historic Chilean striker Ivan Zamorano and earning a bronze medal. Shane Moroney (born February 4, 1989, in Pensacola, Florida) is an American soccer player. Career College and amateur Moroney grew up in Peachtree City, Georgia, attended Starr's Mill High School and played club soccer for the Capital City Streaks in Montgomery, Alabama, before going on to play four years of college soccer at Berry College. A match is a tool for starting a fire. Typically, matches are made of small wooden sticks or stiff paper.
