The 2012 Polish Speedway season was the 2012 season of motorcycle speedway in Poland. Individual Polish Individual Speedway Championship The 2012 Individual Speedway Polish Championship final was held on 15 August at Zielona Góra. Tomasz Jędrzejak won the Polish Championship. Golden Helmet The 2012 Golden Golden Helmet ( pl, Turniej o Złoty Kask, ZK) organised by the Polish Motor Union (PZM) was the 2012 event for the league's leading riders. The final was held at Gorzów Wielkopolski on the 5 May. Piotr Pawlicki Jr. won the Golden Helmet. The 2011 Polish Speedway season was the 2011 season of motorcycle speedway in Poland. Individual Polish Individual Speedway Championship The 2011 Individual Speedway Polish Championship final was held on 3 September at Leszno. Jarosław Hampel won the Polish Championship for the first time. Golden Helmet The 2011 Golden Golden Helmet ( pl, Turniej o Złoty Kask, ZK) organised by the Polish Motor Union (PZM) was the 2011 event for the league's leading riders. The final was held at Toruń on the 24 April. Adrian Miedziński won the Golden Helmet. Robert Miśkowiak (born 21 November 1983 in Rawicz, Poland) is a former motorcycle speedway rider form Poland. Career In 2003, he reached the final of the Speedway Under-21 World Championship. The following year he became the World Under-21 Champion, after winning the 2004 Speedway Under-21 World Championship. In Britain, he raced for Ipswich Witches from 2005 until 2010. Rune Holta
Rune Holta (born 29 August 1973 in Stavanger, Norway) is a speedway rider. He grew up in Randaberg Norway, but has been a Polish citizen since 2002, allowing him to represent Poland in international competitions and was a member of their Speedway World Cup winning teams in 2005, 2007 & 2010. He has also won the Polish Championship in 2003 and 2007. In 2020, he rode for Dackarna Malilla in the Swedish Elit League and for Włókniarz Częstochowa in the Polish Ekstraliga. In 2022, he helped PSŻ Poznań win the 2022 2.Liga. Awards For his sport achievements, he received: Golden Cross of Merit in 2007. Speedway Grand Prix Plane crash In 2007 Holta survived a plane crash with fellow rider Tomasz Gollob. The plane, flown by Władysław Gollob, crashed on the way to a meeting at Tarnów. Sebastian Ułamek
Sebastian Ułamek (born 20 November 1975) is a former motorcycle speedway rider from Poland. He was a European individual Champion. Career Ułamek rode in the Polish leagues for his home club Włókniarz Częstochowa from 1992 until 1998 and then Gdańsk from 1999 to 2000 (the 2000 season was in the Ekstraliga). He began to establish himself as one of the leading riders and participated in his first Grand Prix series during the 1998 Speedway Grand Prix season. He made his British league debut in 2000, when riding several times for Wolverhampton Wolves before returning to Poland to ride for Wrocław. On 12 August 2001 he won the Continental Final, which formed part of the 2002 Speedway Grand Prix Qualification. He aslso won a silver medal with Poland at the 2001 Speedway World Cup. Grzegorz Walasek
Grzegorz Walasek (born 29 August 1976) is a Polish motorcycle speedway rider who has ridden for the Polish national team and has also competed in the Speedway Grand Prix series. Career Born in Krosno Odrzańskie, Poland, Walasek began his senior career in 1993 with ZKŻ Zielona Góra, and won the Polish Under-21 Championship in 1997. In 2000, he began riding in the UK with Poole Pirates. In 2004, he won the senior Polish individual championship. He was part of the Polish team that won the Speedway World Cup in 2005 and 2007. Walasek rode in 22 Speedway Grand Prix, reaching one final and scoring a total of 138 points. For his sporting achievements, he received the Golden Cross of Merit in 2007.
