The 2012 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships were the 91st NCAA Division I Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championships and the 31st NCAA Division I Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa on the campus of the Drake University from June 5–8, 2012. Kemar Hyman (born 11 October 1989) is a Caymanian sprinter of Jamaican descent. He graduated from Florida State University with an Economic Degree. Whilst competing for Florida State University he became the 2012 ACC indoor and outdoor champion and placed third at the 2012 indoor NCAA championships. Hyman is the national record holder in the 100 and 200 metres. Tony McQuay (born April 16, 1990) is an American track and field athlete who specializes in the 400 meters. He is a member of the 2012 and 2016 United States Olympic teams, winning a silver medal in the relay in 2012 and a gold in the same event in 2016. He is also a two time World Champion in this event. Early years McQuay was born in West Palm Beach, Florida. He graduated from Suncoast Community High School in Riviera Beach, Florida, where he ran the 100 meters, 200 meters and 400 meters for the Suncoast Chargers track and field team. Aaron Brown (born 27 May 1992) is a Canadian sprinter who specializes in the 100 and 200 metres. As part of Canada's 4×100 m relay team, he is a two-time Olympic medallist at the 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics, and the 2022 World champion. Brown has also won two World bronze medals as part of Canada's 4×100 m relay teams in 2013 and 2015. As an individual, Brown is the 2018 Commonwealth Games silver medalist in the 200 m and won several junior championship medals early in his career. Keenan Brock (born January 6, 1992) is an American sprinter who specializes in the 100 and 200 metres. Brock ran for George Washington Carver High School in Birmingham, Alabama, where he won the Alabama State Championships twice at 100 and 200 and once in the triple jump. His time in the 100 his senior year was the state record 10.37. Between his junior and senior years, he won an individual bronze medal in the 200 metres and was on the winning American team in the Medley Relay at the 2009 World Youth Championships in Athletics in Brixen.
