The 2012 season saw Lillestrøm compete in the Tippeligaen as well as the 2012 Norwegian Football Cup. They finished the season in 9th in the Tippeligaen and they were knocked out of in the Fourth Round by Bodø/Glimt. Lillestrøm Sportsklubb is a Norwegian professional football club from the city of Lillestrøm, just outside of the capital Oslo. Lillestrøm SK is a Norwegian football club based in Lillestrøm, playing in Eliteserien. The club was founded in 1917, after the merger of two local football clubs. Their home ground is Åråsen Stadion, which has a capacity of 12,250 people, while the principal training ground is Lillestrøm stadion, or the indoor arena, LSK-Hallen. Johan Rickard Andersson (born 22 August 1983) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Johan Andersson was reunited with his former coach Janne Jönsson from his early Landskrona career when he joined Stabæk ahead of the 2008 season. He scored two goals in his league debut for Stabæk at home against Lillestrøm in a 4–2 victory. In total he ended up scoring 12 goals in 25 games from midfield in the league, only behind team-mate Daniel Nannskog in the goal scoring chart when Stabæk won their first ever league title. In Stabæks UEFA Cup run he was involved in both matches against Rennes as they narrowly lost out in the group phase. Henning Hauger (born 17 July 1985) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Bærum. He has previously played for Stabæk, Hannover 96, Lillestrøm, Strømsgodset and Swedish club IF Elfsborg and has been capped 23 times while playing for Norway. Thorstein Helstad
Thorstein Helstad (born 28 April 1977) is a Norwegian former professional footballer who played as a forward. Career Helstad was born in Hamar, and started his career in his local club FL Fart where he at age 16 scored two goals against Løten in 1993 that made the team win promotion to 3. divisjon. He transferred to the local Norwegian First Division side HamKam, at the age of 18, and played for the club between 1995 and 1997. Helstad joined the Tippeligaen side Brann ahead of the 1998 season. Moryké Fofana (born 23 November 1991) is an Ivorian professional footballer who plays as a winger for TFF First League club Samsunspor. Pálmi Rafn Pálmason (born 9 November 1984) is an Icelandic footballer who is currently playing for KR in the Icelandic Premier Division. Frode Kippe (born 17 January 1978) is a Norwegian former professional footballer who played as a central defender, mostly for Lillestrøm in the Eliteserien.
