The Iowa Barnstormers season was the 12th season for the franchise, and the eighth in the Arena Football League. The team was coached by Mike Hohensee. The Barnstormers played their home games at Wells Fargo Arena. The Barnstormers finished the season 7–11 and failed to qualify for the playoffs. Mike Hohensee
Michael Louis Hohensee (born February 22, 1961) is a former professional football quarterback who played in the United States Football League, Canadian Football League, National Football League and Arena Football League. He most recently the head coach of the AFL's Portland Thunder. He played college football at the University of Minnesota, and was in the AFL for two seasons, from 1987 to 1988. Hohensee has been a head coach since 1990, beginning at the Washington Commandos. He has served as head coach of eight different arena football franchises, winning ArenaBowl XX with the Chicago Rush in 2006. Playing career College In college, Hohensee played for the University of Minnesota. After coming out of junior college at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, California, Hohensee quarterbacked the Gophers for two seasons in 1981 and 1982, setting numerous school passing records. Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena (Spokane Arena) is a multi-purpose arena in the northwestern United States, located in Spokane, Washington. Opened in 1995, it is home to the Spokane Chiefs of the Western Hockey League. 2012 Cleveland Gladiators Season
The Cleveland Gladiators season was the 13th season for the franchise in the Arena Football League, and the fourth while in Cleveland. The team was coached by Steve Thonn and played their home games at Quicken Loans Arena. The Gladiators finished the season with an 8–10 record and did not qualify for the playoffs. In this season, the Gladiators became the first team in the history of the league to forfeit a game. They did so on June 8 when the players went on strike prior to a matchup against the Pittsburgh Power in week 14. Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena
VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena (originally Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena) is a multi-purpose arena located in Jacksonville, Florida. It currently serves as the home arena of the Jacksonville Icemen of the ECHL, the Jacksonville Giants of the American Basketball Association, and the Jacksonville Sharks of the National Arena League. About The arena was built in 2003 as part of the Better Jacksonville Plan to replace the Jacksonville Coliseum. On March 12, 2019, a 19–0 vote led to VyStar Credit Union becoming a sponsor for the arena. The Jacksonville Sharks season was the third season for the franchise in the Arena Football League (AFL), coming off of their victory in ArenaBowl XXIV. The team was coached by Les Moss and played their home games at Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena. With a 10–8 record in the regular season, the Sharks won their third consecutive division championship. However, they were denied an opportunity at an ArenaBowl championship repeat when they were defeated 89–34 in the American Conference Championship game by the Philadelphia Soul. The Kansas City Command season was the fifth season for the franchise in the Arena Football League. The team was coached by Danton Barto and played their home games at Sprint Center. The Arizona Rattlers season was the 21st season for the franchise in the Arena Football League. The team was coached by Kevin Guy and played their home games at US Airways Center.
