2012 Hawaii Warriors Football Team
The 2012 Hawaii Warriors football team represented the University of Hawaii at Manoa in the 2012 NCAA Division I FBS football season. They were led by first-year head coach Norm Chow and played their home games at Aloha Stadium. They were first year members of the Mountain West Conference. They finished the season 3–9, 1–7 in Mountain West play to finish in a tie for ninth place. New head coach The university hired Norm Chow, a native Hawaiian who had most recently served as the offensive coordinator at Utah, as its head coach in the 2011–12 offseason to replace the retiring Greg McMackin. Norm Chow
Norman Yew Heen Chow (born May 3, 1946) is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the head coach for the Helvetic Guards in the European League of Football. San Diego Stadium was a multi-purpose stadium on the west coast of the United States, in San Diego, California. 2012 BYU Cougars Football Team
The 2012 BYU Cougars football team represented Brigham Young University in the 2012 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Cougars, led by head coach Bronco Mendenhall, played their home games at LaVell Edwards Stadium. This was the second year BYU competed as an independent. They finished the season 8–5. They were invited to the Poinsettia Bowl where they defeated San Diego State. The 2012 Nevada Wolf Pack football team represented the University of Nevada, Reno in the 2012 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Wolf Pack were led by Chris Ault in his 28th overall and 9th straight season since taking over as head coach for the third time in 2004 and later resigned from coaching at the end of the season.
