2012 H.E. Mahinda Rajapaksa Under-23 International Football Trophy
The 2012 H.E. Mahinda Rajapaksa Under-23 International Football Trophy was the first edition of the tournament which took place in Sri Lanka from 3–9 December 2012. The tournament was won by Maldives, who defeated Pakistan 2–1 in the final. Hosts Sri Lanka were the hosts of the tournament as this is organised by the Ministry of Sports in association with the Football Federation of Sri Lanka. Ahmed Imaz (born 12 April 1992) is a Maldivian footballer nicknamed "''Aakko''", who is currently playing for Da Grande Sports Club. Club career Imaz signed for Club Eagles in 2011 and played three very successful seasons at the club, breaking through to the Maldives U23 and Maldives senior team in the following year. Moosa Yaamin (born 29 December 1992) is a Maldivian footballer, who is currently playing for New Radiant. Senior career Thoddoo FC Yaamin made his debut for Thoddoo FC at the age of 17 where they lost 3–0 to Victory in a Dhivehi League match on 11 April 2010, coming in to play in the starting of the second half as a substitute. He was also cautioned with a yellow card for the foul against Mukhthar Naseer inside the penalty area, awarding a penalty for Victory. Rilwan Waheed
Rilwan Waheed is a Maldivian professional footballer. Nicknamed "Riley", he plays as a winger for Club Green Streets and the Maldives national team. Club career Club Valencia 2006 & 2007 season Rilwan signed with Club Valencia at the age of 15 in 2006, but the FAM rules did not allow him to play at senior level football. Asadhulla Abdulla (born 19 October 1990) is a Maldivian footballer who plays for Maziya.
