The 2012 Football League Trophy Final was the 29th final of the domestic football cup competition for teams from Football Leagues One and Two, the Football League Trophy. The final was played at Wembley Stadium in London on 25 March 2012. The match was contested between Chesterfield from League One and Swindon Town from League Two. Chesterfield won the game 2–0. 2011–12 Football League Trophy
The 2011–12 Football League Trophy, known as the Johnstone's Paint Trophy for sponsorship reasons, is the 28th season in the history of the competition. It is a knock-out tournament for Football in England, English football clubs in Football League One, League One and Football League Two, League Two, the third and fourth tiers of the English football. In all, 48 clubs will enter the competition. It is split into two sections, Northern and Southern, with the winners of each section contesting the final at Wembley Stadium. Tommy Lee (footballer)
Thomas Edward Lee (born 3 January 1986) is an English former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He began his career with Manchester United, but was unable to break into the first team and was loaned to Macclesfield Town in 2006. He joined Macclesfield permanently later that year, spending two years there before first joining Rochdale on loan and then Chesterfield on a permanent basis. He played for Chesterfield for nine seasons, appearing in more than 350 matches before his retirement due to a shoulder injury in 2017. Scott Boden
Scott David Boden (born 19 December 1989) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for club Matlock Town. Career Boden was born in Streatham. In 2008, Boden was loaned out from Sheffield United to play five matches for IFK Mariehamn in the Finnish Premier Division. Boden left Åland for England and Chesterfield after his stint at the Mariehamn based club. In October 2011 Boden moved to Macclesfield Town on a one-month loan. Daniel Phillip Whitaker (born 14 November 1980) is an English former professional football player and manager who was recently the player-manager of club Macclesfield. Mark Leonard Randall (born 28 September 1989) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for NIFL Premiership club Larne. Randall spent his formative footballing years at Arsenal where he was touted by manager Arsène Wenger as a key Arsenal player for the future. Jack William Lester (born 8 October 1975) is an English football coach and former professional footballer, who is a first team coach at EFL Championship side of Sheffield United. Franck Moussa (born 24 July 1989) is a retired Belgian professional footballer. Career Southend United Born in Brussels, Moussa was a Belgian under-18 and under-19 international. Mark Stephen Allott (born 3 October 1977) is an English former footballer. Career Oldham Athletic Allott initially came through the youth ranks and was highly rated as a centre forward, scoring on his debut as a substitute in a defeat against Bolton Wanderers at Burnden Park in October 1996. Andrew Talbot (born 19 July 1986) is an English former professional footballer. A versatile player, Talbot predominantly played at right back or on the right wing.
