2012 Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 Season
The 2012 Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 season was the 22nd Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 season. The season commenced on 5 May at Alcañiz and ended on 21 October at Barcelona. The season featured seven double-header rounds, with each race lasting for a duration of 30 minutes. All races were part of the World Series by Renault. Red Bull Junior's Daniil Kvyat won the opening race of the season at Motorland Aragón after qualifying on pole position by 0.1 seconds. Newcomer Nyck de Vries finished in second place and returnee Stoffel Vandoorne attained his maiden podium in third. The race was red-flagged after a violent crash between Daniel Cammish and Hans Villemi, with Villemi flipping over the back of Cammish's car. Javier Tarancón
Javier Tarancón (born 23 November 1991) is a Spanish racing driver who has raced in karting, Formula BMW and Formula Renault. His career began in 2000 at the age of 8. Career Karting In 2000, Tarancón finished 10th in the Catalonia Karting Championship but won the Social Vendrell Karting Championship. In 2001, he again took the title in Social Vendrell Karting and finished 3rd in three other competitions: the Championship Catalonia, Toyota Open and the Race of Champions (as a cadet). In 2002, Tarancón was 2nd in Social Vendrell Karting but 5th in the Race of Champions and in 2003 finished 4th in the Spanish Karting Trophy. Esteban José Jean-Pierre Ocon-Khelfane (; born 17 September 1996) is a French racing driver who competes for Alpine in Formula One. Moscow Raceway is an FIA-approved motor racing venue, which is situated in the Volokolamsky District of Moscow Oblast, near the villages of Sheludkovo and Fedyukovo, from Moscow, Russia.
