2012 Davidson Wildcats Football Team
The 2012 Davidson Wildcats football team represented Davidson College in the 2012 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by eighth-year head coach Tripp Merritt and played their home games at Richardson Stadium. They were a member of the Pioneer Football League (PFL). Merritt was fired on November 5 after a 1–8 start and 31–51 mark in eight seasons. Associate head coach Brett Hayford was named the interim head coach for the remainder of the season. They finished the season 2–9 overall 2–6 in PFL play to finish in eighth place. Guy William "Tripp" Merritt III (March 5, 1968 – August 10, 2020) was an American football coach. The 2012 San Diego Toreros football team represented the University of San Diego in the 2012 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by sixth-year head coach Ron Caragher and played their home games at Torero Stadium. They were a member of the Pioneer Football League. They finished the season 8–3, 7–1 in PFL play to win their second consecutive league championship, shared with Butler and Drake. Jayne Stadium
Jayne Stadium is a 10,000-seat multi-purpose stadium in Morehead, Kentucky, United States. It opened in 1964 and is home to the Morehead State University Eagles football team. Surrounding Jacobs Field, the stadium hosts press and VIP facilities, box seats and home and visiting stands. The stadium, opened in 1964, also has locker room facilities, MSU's primary sports medicine facilities and the football offices. The football offices have been remodeled and upgraded, and the football locker room on the north end of the facility was recently renovated and now features hardwood lockers for all players and an upgraded equipment room/storage area. Atop the stadium, the press box can accommodate 20 working media/game day staff, and there are booths for home and visiting radio and coaches.
