2012 Chinese Super Cup
The 2012 Chinese FA Super Cup (Chinese: 2012中国足球协会超级杯) was the 10th Chinese Football Super Cup, an annual football match contested by the winners of the previous season's Super League and FA Cup competitions. The match was played at the Guangzhou University City Stadium on 25 February 2012, and contested by league winner Guangzhou Evergrande and cup winner Tianjin Teda. The Chinese FA Super Cup (), formerly named Chinese Football Super Cup (), is a pre-season association football, football competition held before the season begins in China PR, China. It is a Chinese football championship contested by the winners of top division of Professional League (former Chinese Jia-A League, now Chinese Super League) and the Chinese FA Cup, FA Cup last season. If both teams are the same, the opponent is the runners-up of league last season. It is the Chinese equivalent to the English FA Community Shield, in which the winners of the Premier League and FA Cup compete for the trophy. The TOSHIBA 2011 Chinese FA Cup (Chinese language, Chinese: 东芝2011中国足球协会杯) was the 13th edition of Chinese FA Cup. The match of first round began on 4 May 2011, and the final took place on 19 November 2011. Muriqui (footballer)
Luiz Guilherme da Conceição Silva (born 16 June 1986), commonly known as Muriqui, is a Brazilian professional footballer who currently plays for Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club Avaí. His nickname, Muriqui, comes from the district where he was born, Muriqui, Mangaratiba. Club career Early career Muriqui started his senior career in 2004 with Madureira. Considered as a talented player, he was loaned to several higher level Brazilian clubs including Vasco da Gama, Avaí and transferred to Desportivo Brasil in 2008. Gao Lin (; born 14 February 1986) is a Chinese professional footballer who plays as a forward for Chinese Super League club Shenzhen. Zhao Xuri (; born 3 December 1985) is a Chinese footballer who currently plays for Sichuan Jiuniu in the China League One division. Club career While Zhao Xuri started his football career with second tier side Dalian Sidelong, he did not make an impact in the squad; however, top tier side Sichuan First City took an interest within the youngster. Sun Xiang (; ; born 15 January 1982) is a Chinese former professional footballer who played as a left back. He played for Shanghai Shenhua, Guangzhou Evergrande, Shanghai SIPG in his native country and spent time on loan at Dutch club PSV Eindhoven and Austrian club Austria Wien. Feng Xiaoting (; born 22 October 1985) is a Chinese professional footballer who currently plays for Chinese Super League club Shanghai Shenhua. Club career Feng Xiaoting started his football career with Sichuan Guancheng in the 2003 league season where he quickly established himself as a regular. Li Jianhua () is a retired Chinese footballer who last played as a defender for Guangdong South China Tiger in the China League One.
