Jeff McInerney
Jeff McInerney (born June 22, 1960) is an American professional football coach and former player who is the current defensive quality control and special teams coordinator for the New Jersey Generals of the United States Football League (USFL). He served as head football coach at Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) from 2006 to 2013, compiling a record of 48–41. Coaching career McInerney is an alumnus of Slippery Rock University. He began his coaching career at his alma mater as an undergraduate in 1981, followed by one season as a graduate assistant coach in 1982. McInerney subsequently served as an assistant coach at Troy University, Georgia Southern University, the University of Tulsa, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Oregon State University, Duke University, the University of Southern California and the University of Rhode Island. Kessler Field
Kessler Stadium is a 4,200-seat football and track stadium in West Long Branch, New Jersey. It was built in 1993 and is home to the Monmouth University Hawks. Kessler Stadium underwent a renovation prior to the start of the 2017 football season that saw the seating capacity expand to more than 4,200 seats, including 800+ chair backs. A new brick facade complements the design of the OceanFirst Bank Center and the seating stretches end zone to end zone. Kessler Stadium is home to a press box and multimedia center on the third fourth, a main concourse at ground level which is home to the Brockriede Family Concessions and the Austin Family Box Office. On the second floor, the Doherty Family Deck hosts Monmouth Athletics Blue-White Club events. The first home football game in Monmouth's history was on September 25, 1993, against Sacred Heart University. 2012 Monmouth Hawks Football Team
The 2012 Monmouth Hawks Devils football team represented Monmouth University in the 2012 NCAA Division I FCS football season as a member of the Northeast Conference. They were led by 20th- year head coach Kevin Callahan and played their home games at Kessler Field. They finished the season 5–5 overall and 4–3 in NEC play to place third. This was the Hawks last season as a member of the NEC. In July 2013, Monmouth athletics moved to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. However, the MAAC does not sponsor football, so the Hawks played the 2013 season as an FCS independent before joining the Big South Conference as a football-only member in 2014. Moon Township is a township along the Ohio River in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Moon is a part of the Greater Pittsburgh metropolitan area and is located northwest of Pittsburgh. The population was 27,261 at the 2020 census. History Early history (1756–1773) The initial settlement of Moon Township was a direct result of the westward expansion of English settlers and traders who arrived in the Ohio Valley in the early to mid-18th century. During the French and Indian War (Seven Years' War), the Iroquois, who controlled the land for hunting grounds through right of conquest, ceded large parcels of southwestern Pennsylvania lands through treaty or abandonment to settlers. Joe Walton Stadium
Joe Walton Stadium is a 3,000-seat multi-purpose stadium in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. It is home to the Robert Morris University Colonials football team and men's and women's lacrosse team. The facility opened in 2005 and is named for Colonials head football coach Joe Walton. The inaugural football game was played on September 17, 2005 when Robert Morris defeated Butler 49–13. The team formerly played its home games at Moon Area High School's Moon Stadium. The inaugural men's lacrosse game was played on March 5, 2005 when Robert Morris lost to Drexel 9–4.
