The 2012 Belarusian Super Cup was held on 6 March 2012 between the 2011 Belarusian Premier League champions BATE Borisov and the 2010–11 Belarusian Cup winners Gomel. Gomel won the match 2–0 and became the first team other than BATE to win a trophy. FC BATE Borisov (russian: link=no, ФК БАТЭ Борисов, ''FK BATE Borisov'' ; be, ФК БАТЭ Барысаў, ''BATE Barysaw,'' ) is a professional Belarusian football team from the city of Barysaw. The club competes in the Belarusian Premier League, of which they are the league's most successful club with 15 titles, including 13 won consecutively. The club has also won four Belarusian Cups and four Belarusian Super Cups. BATE is the only Belarusian team to have qualified for the group stage of the UEFA Champions League ( 2008–09, 2011–12, 2012–13, 2014–15 and 2015–16) and one of two to qualify for the group stage of the UEFA Europa League ( 2009–10, 2010–11, 2017–18 and 2018–19), along with Dinamo Minsk. Marko Simić ( sr-Cyrl, Марко Симић, ; born 16 June 1987) is a professional football defender playing for Budućnost Podgorica. Born in Serbia, he represents the Montenegro national football team. Maksim Pyatrovich Skavysh ( be, Максім Скавыш, russian: Максим Скавыш; born 13 November 1989) is a Belarusian professional footballer who plays for Shakhtyor Soligorsk as a forward. Maycon Rogério Silva Calijuri (born 6 June 1986) is a Brazilian former professional footballer. Career Club Maycon Calijuri was Topscorer for the Belarusian club FC Gomel in the 2009 season with 15 goals. He moved to Jagiellonia Białystok on a four-year contract deal in January 2010. In the summer 2010, he was loaned to Piast Gliwice. He returned to Jagiellonia one year later. Maycon Calijuri was loaned to BATE Borisov prior to the start of the 2012 Belarusian Premier League season.
