2012 All-Ireland Intermediate Hurling Championship
The 2013 All-Ireland Intermediate Hurling Championship was the 29th staging of the All-Ireland hurling championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1961. The championship began on 26 May 2012 and ended on 1 September 2012. Clare were the defending champions, however, they were defeated in the provincial final. Tipperary won the title following a 3–13 to 1–17 defeat of Kilkenny in the final. Wexford Park
Chadwicks Wexford Park is a GAA stadium in Wexford, County Wexford, Republic of Ireland. It is the home of Wexford GAA's Gaelic football and hurling teams. After a recent development the ground has a capacity of about 18,000. It is located in the Clonard area on the outskirts of Wexford Town, and although the ground does not have floodlights it regularly hosts evening matches during the brighter summer months. In 2015 a local technology company, Innovate Business Technology, signed a deal for the naming rights to the stadium. The new name unveiled was Innovate Wexford Park. In 2020 Chadwicks replaced Innovate as the name sponsor of the stadium. Redevelopment In 1997, Wexford received planning permission to redevelop Wexford Park. David Butler (hurler)
David Butler (born 1992) is an Irish hurler who plays as a right wing-forward for the Kerry senior team. Born in Dundrum, County Tipperary, Butler first played competitive hurling during his schooling at Cashel Community sive School. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of sixteen when he first linked up with the Tipperary minor team before later joining the junior Gaelic football team. He made his senior debut for Kerry during the 2014 league. Butler quickly became a regular member of the starting fifteen and has won one Christy Ring Cup medal. He has been a Christy Ring Cup runner-up on one occasion. At club level Butler plays with Knockavilla–Donaskeigh Kickhams. Adrian Mannix
Adrian Timothy Mannix also known as "Turkey" (born 1988 in St. Finbarrs Hospital, Cork City, County Cork) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club Kilworth and was a member of the Cork senior inter-county team in 2009. Mannix was a star player for Cork at minor level. He won back-to-back Munster minor titles in 2005 and 2006. In 2009 he played a prominent role with Cork IT and the team reached the Fitzgibbon Cup semi-finals. At club level, Mannix was described as Kilworth's star forward. His "outstanding" form in Kilworth's march to the 2006 Munster Junior Club Hurling Championship title earned him a call-up to Cork's provisional 2007 senior county squad. Niall Healy
Niall Healy (born 14 April 1985) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club Craughwell and was a member of the Galway senior inter-county team from 2005. Healy was top scorer in the 2015 galway senior hurling championship, scoring a total of 8-75 over 9 games. O'Connor Park
O'Connor Park ( ga, Páirc Uí Chonchúir) is a GAA stadium in Tullamore, County Offaly, Ireland. It is one of the principal grounds of the Offaly GAA Gaelic football and hurling teams. It is known for sponsorship reasons as Bord na Móna O’Connor Park. The ground was opened in 1934, to replace Ballyduff Park, and currently has a capacity of 18,000. The ground currently consists of a covered stand on one side of the pitch, with terracing on the other three. A stand was built in 1991, but replaced by the current structure in 2006. The GAA Hurling Intermediate All-Ireland Championship, known simply as the All-Ireland Intermediate Championship, is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). Effectively contested by the second string teams of the top inter-county hurling sides in Ireland, the tournament has taken place every year since 1997—having originally been run between 1961 and 1973. The final, currently held in July, serves as the culmination of a series of games played during the early summer, and the results determine which team receives the Michael Cusack Cup.
