The 2011–12 season was Zob Ahan Isfahan FC, Zob Ahan Football Club's 11th season in the Iran Pro League, and their 16th consecutive season in the top division of Football in Iran, Iranian football. Zob Ahan Esfahan Football Club (, ''Bâšgâh-e Futbâl-e Zobâhan-e Esfahân'') is an Iranian Association football, football club based in Fuladshahr, Iran. It competes in the Persian Gulf Pro League. The team is sponsored by the ''Isfahan Steel Company'', which also goes by the name Esfahan Steel Company, Zob Ahan. The club's main rival is fellow Isfahani team Sepahan, which is sponsored by the rival steel mill Mobarakeh Steel Company. Hossein Mahini (; born September 16, 1986) is an Iranian former footballer who played as a defender. Club career Persepolis On 7 July 2012, he signed a two-year contract with the leading Tehran team, Persepolis. Mahini is known for his speed and crossing.
