Shrewsbury Town F
Shrewsbury ( , also ) is a market town, civil parish, and the county town of Shropshire, England, on the River Severn, north-west of London; at the 2021 census, it had a population of 76,782. The town's name can be pronounced as either 'Shrowsbury' or 'Shroosbury', the correct pronunciation being a matter of longstanding debate. The town centre has a largely unspoilt medieval street plan and over 660 listed buildings, including several examples of timber framing from the 15th and 16th centuries. The Football Association Challenge Cup, more commonly known as the FA Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic English football. Matthew Lee Richards (born 26 December 1984) is an English former professional footballer who played as a midfielder or left back. Career Ipswich Town Matt is a graduate of the Ipswich Town academy, and made his debut in the UEFA Cup against Avenir Beggen aged just 17. He received his only England under-21 cap for appearing in the England U21 victory over Ukraine U21 in August 2004. He played a prominent role in Joe Royle's Play-off semi-finalist making teams in 2003/04 and 2004/05. When Club Captain Jim Magilton was made manager in 2006–07, Richards found himself out of favour. Reuben Daniel Hazell (born 24 April 1979) is an English former professional footballer who played as a defender. Club career Hazell started his career as a youth player with Aston Villa before playing for Tranmere Rovers, Torquay United, Kidderminster Harriers and Chesterfield, where he scored once against Swansea City. Whilst at Tranmere he played in the 2000 Football League Cup Final, and scored one league goal in a 2–1 win over Portsmouth in March 2000. He joined Oldham Athletic in September 2007. Marvin Newton Morgan (13 April 1983 – 6 December 2021) was an English professional footballer who played as a forward. He played in the Football League for Aldershot Town, Dagenham & Redbridge, Shrewsbury Town, Plymouth Argyle and Hartlepool United. He was also the founder of the fashion brand Fresh Ego Kid. Nicholas "Nicky" Wroe (born 28 September 1985) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder, most recently for Boston United. Mark Anthony Wright (born 24 February 1982 in Wolverhampton) is an English former professional footballer. Playing career Walsall Wright is a product of Walsall's youth system, and aside from a short spell at Nuneaton Borough for some first-team experience, he plied his trade steadily at the Bescot Stadium with Walsall for seven years. Shane Lewis Cansdell-Sherriff (born 10 November 1982), also known simply as Shane Sherriff, is an Australian professional footballer. Traditionally a left or central defender, Sherriff has also been deployed on the left side of midfield. He is currently coaching at Australian football club Bankstown City. Ian William Sharps (born 23 October 1980) is an English former footballer who is currently First-Team Coach at Walsall Football Club. During his playing career he was a defender most commonly deployed at centre-back. Career Born in Warrington, Sharps is a tall central defender who signed for Tranmere Rovers after serving as a trainee and soon established himself as a first team regular making almost 200 appearances. Sean Brian McAllister (born 15 August 1987) is an English former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Primarily as a central midfielder, he has good vision and passing ability.
