PFC Levski Sofia
Levski Sofia ( bg, Левски София) is a Bulgarian professional association football club based in Sofia, which competes in the First League, the top division of the Bulgarian football league system. The club was founded on 24 May 1914 by a group of high school students, and is named after Vasil Levski, a Bulgarian revolutionary renowned as the national hero of the country. Levski has won a total of 74 trophies, including 26 national titles, 26 national cups and 3 supercups, as well as 13 domestic Doubles and 1 Treble. It is also the only Bulgarian football club to have never been relegated from the top division since the establishment of the league system in 1937. Levski has reached the quarter-finals of UEFA competitions for five times, was runner-up of the Balkans Cup twice, and in 2006, it became the first Bulgarian club to reach the group stage of the UEFA Champions League. Futbolen klub Pirin ( bg, Футболен клуб „Пирин“), also known as Pirin Blagoevgrad is a Bulgarian football club based in Blagoevgrad, which currently competes in the First League, the top division of Bulgarian football. The club was founded in 2008, after a merger between two clubs from Blagoevgrad, Pirin 1922 and PFC Pirin Blagoevgrad. By an official court decision later that year, the club was announced as a historical successor of the club records of the former FC Pirin, founded in 1922. In 2011, following the bankruptcy of the entity, which represented the football club, Pirin's football department was merged once again with Perun Kresna, to eventually become OFC Pirin. The club's name is adopted from Pirin, a mountain range in southwestern Bulgaria. Their home ground is the Stadion Hristo Botev in Blagoevgrad with a capacity of 7,500 spectators. Lars Fredrik Risp (born 15 December 1980) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a defender. He played professionally in Sweden, Italy, Turkey, Norway, Denmark, Bulgaria and Cyprus in a career that spanned between 1996 and 2013. Antonio "Toni" Calvo Arandes (born 28 March 1987) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a winger for FC Santboià. He spent the better part of his career with Aris (Greece) and Anorthosis (Cyprus). PEC Zwolle is a Dutch football club based in Zwolle, Netherlands. They play in the Eerste Divisie, the second tier of Dutch football, following relegation from the Eredivisie in the 2021–22 season. PSFC Chernomorets Burgas
PSFC Chernomorets Burgas ( bg, ПСФК Черноморец Бургас) or simply Chernomorets ( bg, Черноморец) was a Bulgarian football club from the city of Burgas. The club never won any major competition, its most notable achievement being a second-place finish in the UEFA Intertoto Cup competition in 2008. The club was founded in 2005, following the folding of the historical FC Chernomorets Burgas, which played numerous seasons in the first tier of Bulgarian football. The new Chernomorets quickly ascended to the first tier and remained there until the 2013-14 season. Financial problems followed, which led to instability and relegations to lower leagues, ultimately to the fifth tier, where the team played last in 2018-19, before being dissolved. Orlin Ognyanov Starokin ( bg, Орлин Старокин; born 8 January 1987) is a former Bulgarian footballer of Russian origin who played mainly as a left wingback for Kostinbrod. Beroe ( bg, Берое) is a Bulgarian professional association football club based in Stara Zagora, that competes in the First League, the top division of the Bulgarian football league system. Todor Hristov ( bg, Тодор Христов; born 25 September 1987) is a Bulgarian football midfielder who currently plays for Icelandic club Einherji Career Todor Hristov played his first full season in the Bulgarian top division during the 2010–2011 season when he played for Beroe Stara Zagora Levski Sofia On 9 June 2011 he signed for Levski Sofia. Hristov appeared in only 7 league games for Levski, and 9 in all competitions. It soon became evident that Levski's board was desperate to sell Hristov, as he was forced to train with the reserves, as well as the youth team. Return to Beroe On 29 February 2012, it was announced that Hristov had returned to Beroe, for a reported fee of around 180,000 leva, after failing to secure a spot in Levski's starting eleven.
