2011–12 Kategoria E Parë
The 2011–12 Kategoria e Parë was the 65th season of a second-tier association football league in Albania. Teams The league was comprised fourteen teams, the teams ranked fifth through twelfth from the 2010–11 season, two relegated teams from the 2010–11 Kategoria Superiore, the two group winners of the 2010–11 Kategoria e Dytë, the two losing teams from the promotion/relegation playoffs between Kategoria e Parë and Kategoria Superiore teams and the two winning teams from the promotion/relegation playoffs between Kategoria e Parë and Kategoria e Dytë teams. Pogradeci have earned direct promotion to the 2011–12 Kategoria Superiore season. They will be replaced by Elbasani, who were relegated at the end of the 2010–11 Kategoria Superiore season. Three additional directly promoted teams, as well as the other team to be directly relegated from the 2010–11 Kategoria Superiore, are yet to be determined. Kategoria E Parë
Kategoria e Parë is the second level of professional football in Albania, behind the Kategoria Superiore and above the Kategoria e Dytë. Format Kategoria e Parë was founded in 1930. It is made up of 14 teams. The 2 best ranked teams gain promotion to the Kategoria Superiore, while the teams ranked from the 3rd to the 6th position qualify to a play-off tournament where the winner then plays a promotion play-off match against the 8th ranked team of Kategoria Superiore. FC Kamza
Football Club Kamza was a football club based in Kamëz, Albania. Founded on 10 September, the club has competed in the lower levels of Albanian football for much of its history, except for the 2011–12 season where they were promoted to the Kategoria Superiore for the first time but they were relegated in their debut season and have competed in the First Division since. History Background The first game of football to be played in Kamëz took place on 26 July 1908, as a celebration of the Young Turk Revolution which was triggered 16 days earlier by Ahmed Niyazi Bey, who was Albanian. The game was organised by Refik Toptani of the noble Toptani family and it featured two groups of youths from Kamëz and Tiranë, named Tërkuzaj and Agimi respectively. Kategoria Superiore
The Kategoria Superiore, officially known as Abissnet Superiore for sponsorship reasons, is a professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the Albanian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. It is contested by 10 clubs, and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Kategoria e Parë. Seasons run from August to May, with teams playing 36 matches each (playing each team in the league four times, twice at home and twice away). The competition was founded in 1930 as the Albanian National Championship during the reign of King Zog, shortly after the creation of the Albanian Football Association. 2012–13 Kategoria Superiore
The 2012–13 Kategoria Superiore was the 74th official season, or 77th season of top-tier football in Albania (including three unofficial championships of the World War II) and the fifteenth season under the name ''Kategoria superiore''. The season began on 25 August 2012 and ended on 11 May 2013. Skënderbeu Korçë were the defending champions retained their title, winning their fourth Albanian league championship. Promotion and relegation Pogradeci and Dinamo Tirana were directly relegated to the Kategoria e Parë after finishing 13th and 14th in the previous year's standings. They are replaced by Kategoria e Parë champions Luftëtari Gjirokastër and runners-up Kukësi. KF Ada Velipojë
KF Ada is an Albanian football club based in the city of Velipojë which is situated in Shkodër County. The club's home ground is the Reshit Rusi Stadium and they currently compete in the Kategoria e Dytë. History The club was founded on 6 March 1996 as a sports society by Lazër Matia, Alfred Pjetri, Filip Kercunga, Marash Qytetza and Prend Përndreca. The name Ada derives from the Adriatic island of Ada Bojana in nearby Montenegro. Klubi i Futbollit Burreli is an Albanian football club based in Burrel, Mat District. Their home ground is the Liri Ballabani Stadium and they compete in the Kategoria e Parë.
