The 2011–12 Horizon League men's basketball season marks the 32nd season of Horizon League basketball. Preseason In the preseason, Butler was the conference favorite despite returning only one of their top four scorers from the 2011 national runner-up team. The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) is a nonprofit organization that regulates student athletics among about 1,100 schools in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico.
