2011–12 HockeyAllsvenskan Season
The 2011–12 HockeyAllsvenskan season was the 7th season of HockeyAllsvenskan. The regular season started on 17 September 2011 and ended on 2 March 2012. The following Playoff round for the final spot in the 2012 Kvalserien started on 4 March and ended on 12 March 2012. Participating teams Standings Playoff round In the Playoff round, each team played a round-robin, facing each team twice – once at home and once on the road, giving a total of six games per team. The 4th seed from the regular season was awarded four extra points, the 5th seed three points, the 6th seed two points, and the 7th seed got one point. Rögle BK finished first and got the final spot in the 2012 Kvalserien qualification tournament for Elitserien Elitserien (literally, "the Elite League") is the name of several Swedish nationwide sport leagues. HockeyAllsvenskan
HockeyAllsvenskan (previously Allsvenskan and SuperAllsvenskan) is a professional ice hockey league, and the second-highest league in the Swedish ice hockey system (after the SHL). Since the 2009–10 season, the league consists of fourteen teams. Previous leagues called Allsvenskan During seasons 1948–49 through 1974–75 ''Allsvenskan'' was the semi-official name of the first-level league, the official name being ''Division 1 norra'' (north) and ''södra'' (south), comprising six teams each until 1955–56 and eight teams each from 1956–57 to 1973–74. Malmö Redhawks
The IF Malmö Redhawks (colloquially referred to simply as Malmö or by past abbreviation MIF) is a Swedish professional ice hockey team based in Malmö which plays in the SHL, with Malmö Arena as the venue for home games. The history of the team dates back to 1947 as the ice hockey division of the now exclusively football club Malmö FF. In 1972 the team divested from Malmö FF, marking the start of the hockey association initially known as Malmö IF. The team name was changed to MIF Redhawks in 2001 and then to the present name IF Malmö Redhawks in 2004. Tegera Arena
Tegera Arena is an arena in Leksand, Sweden primarily used for ice hockey. It was opened in October 2005, and is the home arena of Leksands IF. It holds 7,650 people. History Construction of a new arena, replacing the former Leksands ishall from 1966, was announced on 27 April 2004. Construction began on 5 July the same year, and the first ice hockey game inside the arenas was played on 3 October 2005 when Leksands IF lost, 3–4, against Linköpings HC in the Swedish Hockey League. The arenas was officially inaugurated by County-Governor Ingrid Dahlberg of Dalarna on 11 November 2005. The arena hosted games during the 2007 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships, together with FM Mattsson Arena in Mora. The following season, the 2007 4 Nations Cup was played at Tegera Arena. Leksand Municipality (''Leksands kommun'') is a municipality in Dalarna County in central Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Leksand. In 1974 "old" Leksand was amalgamated with ''Ål'' and reunited with ''Siljansnäs'' (which had been separated from it in 1875). Borås

Nobelhallen is an indoor arena in Karlskoga, Sweden. Its current capacity is 5,600 and it was built in 1971. It is the home arena of the ice hockey team BIK Karlskoga. The first ice hockey game inside Nobelhallen, which replaced Boforsrinken, was played on 15 October 1972, a friendly game where KB Karlskoga lost, 5–9, against Djurgården IF. Karlskoga () is a locality and the seat of Karlskoga Municipality, Sweden. Located within Örebro County, 45 km (28 mi) west of Örebro, and 10 km (6 mi) north of Degerfors. Upplands Bilforum Arena is an indoor arena located in Uppsala, Sweden, and built in 1974. It consists of three arenas: "A-hallen", "B-hallen" and "C-hallen". A-hallen is the biggest part of the arena and has a capacity of 2,800 spectators and is where Almtuna IS and Uppsala HC play their home games. B-hallen has a capacity of 350 spectators, and C-hallen has a capacity of 250.
