2011–12 Armenian Cup
The 2011–12 Armenian Cup was the 21st season of Armenia's Association football, football knockout competition. It featured the eight 2012 Armenian Premier League, 2012 Premier League teams. The tournament began on 19 November 2011. FC Mika, Mika were the defending champions. Impulse FC
Impuls Football Club ( hy, Իմպուլս Ֆուտբոլային Ակումբ), is a defunct Armenian professional football club from the town of Dilijan, Tavush Province. The club used to play in the Armenian Premier League, the top division of the Armenian football. The home ground of Impuls was the Dilijan City Stadium. History Impulse FC was originally founded in 1985 during the Soviet days. In 1994, the club was dissolved due to financial difficulties. In 2009, Impuls FC was revived by the efforts of former member of Armenian Parliament ''Hakob Hakobyan'', as part of the Sport Club Erebuni Dilijan. FC Shirak
Football Club Shirak ( hy, Շիրակ Ֆուտբոլային Ակումբ), commonly known as Shirak, is an Armenian professional sports club based in Gyumri. Shirak is known for its professional football team which is one of the oldest football clubs in Armenia, having been created in 1958. The club is the only team that participated in all seasons of the Armenian Premier League since its creation in 1992 until 2021. Shirak is one of the more successful clubs in Armenia, having won a total of 11 domestic titles including four Armenian Premier League titles, two Armenian Cup, and five Armenian Super Cup. Shirak has yet to qualify for an international tournament playoff round, yet frequently plays UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League qualifying matches. Gyumri
Gyumri ( hy, Գյումրի, ) is an urban municipal community and the second-largest city in Armenia, serving as the administrative center of Shirak Province in the northwestern part of the country. By the end of the 19th century, when the city was known as Alexandropol,; hy, Ալեքսանդրապոլ it became the largest city of Russian-ruled Eastern Armenia with a population above that of Yerevan. Gyumri City Stadium
Gyumri City Stadium ( hy, Գյումրիի քաղաքային մարզադաշտ) is an all-seater football stadium in Gyumri, Armenia. It is currently the home venue of the Armenian Premier League club FC Shirak of Gyumri. The current capacity of the stadium is 4,000 seats. History The stadium was built and opened in 1924 to become the first stadium in the modern history of Armenia. When Shirak was founded in 1958, the stadium became the regular home ground of the team for the Soviet First League competition. Starting from 1991, the stadium witnessed many glorious moments of FC Shirak in the Armenian Premier League and the Armenian Independence Cup. Away Goals
The away goals rule is a method of tiebreaking in association football and other sports when teams play each other twice, once at each team's home ground. Under the away goals rule, if the total goals scored by each team are equal, the team that has scored more goals " away from home" wins.
