2011–12 AFC Ajax Season
During the 2011–12 season AFC Ajax participated in the Eredivisie, the KNVB Cup, the UEFA Champions League and the 2011–12 UEFA Europa League, UEFA Europa League. The first training took place on 27 June 2011. The traditional AFC Ajax Open Day will be held on 3 August 2011, followed by a testimonial match for the retired former Ajax goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar. Ajax's U19 squad will play in the inaugural tournament of the NextGen series. Pre-season The first training for the 2011–12 season was held on 27 June 2011. In preparation for the new season Ajax organized a trainingsstage in Fürth, Germany. The squad from manager Frank de Boer stayed there from 11 July 2011 to 16 July 2011. During this training stage, friendly matches were played against SSV Jahn Regensburg, Jahn Regensburg and 1. FC Nürnberg. FC Emmen
FC Emmen is a Dutch football club based in Emmen, Drenthe. They play in the Eredivisie, the top tier of Dutch football, after winning the 2021–22 Eerste Divisie title. Founded in 1925, the club entered the professional Eerste Divisie in 1985. In 2018, Emmen were promoted to the Eredivisie for the first time, but in 2021 they were relegated to the Eerste Divisie again. 2022 they were promoted again and play the 2022-2023 season in the Eredivisie again. Lorenzo Ebecilio (born 24 September 1991) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Vierde Divisie club DHSC. An Ajax academy product, he debuted for Ajax in the 2010–11 Eredivisie. During the first two seasons, despite his young age, he established himself as a regular starter and contributed significantly for two championships. Kolbeinn Sigþórsson (; born 14 March 1990) is an Icelandic professional footballer who plays as a forward. Currently a free agent, he most recently played for Allsvenskan club IFK Göteborg.
