The electronic communications market in Croatia is regulated by the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM), which issues broadcast licenses and monitors the market. The DVB-T and satellite transmission infrastructure is developed and maintained by the state-owned company Odašiljači i veze (OiV). Veliki Brat
''Veliki Brat'' (lit: ''Big Brother'') is a Serbian version of the global reality show franchise '' Big Brother''. The show is recorded and produced in Belgrade by Emotion Production. Originally, the show began as a Serbian production with housemates from Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The third season also included housemates from Macedonia. For the fourth season Croatian broadcaster and producer RTL became involved, and auditions were held in Croatia, making the show Pan-regional. In Serbia, the show was often broadcast by different channels. The first three regular seasons and three celebrity seasons were broadcast on B92 & Prva channel, while the other two celebrities and the fourth regular season were broadcast on Pink. In Montenegro the show is broadcast by Pink M and Prva, in Bosnia-Herzegovina by Pink BH, OBN and BN, in Macedonia by A1 and Sitel, and in Croatia the show is broadcast by RTL respectively. RTL Televizija
RTL (previously known as RTL Televizija) is a Croatian free-to-air television network founded on 30 April 2004. It was owned by the RTL Group from 2004 to 2022. Since 1 June 2022, it is owned by the CME Group. The logo consisted of three primary colours: Red, Yellow, and Blue. This is the second commercial television network in Croatia that has a national concession, following Nova TV. On 15 May 2014, RTL Group announced that Henning Tewes, Managing Director of news provider Enex, would be appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of RTL Hrvatska as of 1 July 2014. Tewes succeeds Johannes Züll, who left the RTL Group to become president and CEO of Studio Hamburg. As a result of a proposal from Henning Tewes, Ivan Lovreček, former editor-in-chief and member of the Executive Board of RTL Hrvatska, was promoted to Deputy CEO of the company on 1 July 2014. Hrvatska Traži Zvijezdu
''Star Search Croatia'' ( hr, Hrvatska traži zvijezdu) was the second Croatian version of ''Pop Idol'' and it was airing on RTL Televizija. In the first season the competitors were judged by Croatian musicians Tony Cetinski, Jelena Radan and Goran Lisica - Fox. Due to private commitments Radan left in the beginning of the second season and was replaced by Anđa Marić who left after the second season and was replaced with Ivana Mišerić in the third season Antonija Blaće, famous for participating and hosting the Croatian Big Brother edition is the host of the competition which makes her the first person ever to host the two local versions of these franchises. Veliki Brat 2011
''Veliki Brat 2011'' (commonly known as ''Veliki Brat 4'' or ''VB4'' for short) was the fourth season of the Serbian production of the ''Big Brother (TV series), Big Brother'' reality television series ''Veliki Brat''. This season was notable for being the first to feature houseguests from Croatia, and in doing so it holds the record for largest number of unique nations represented with five. Along with Serbia and Croatia, the other three nations represented were Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and North Macedonia. The program is known as ''Big Brother'' in Croatia due to a former Big Brother (Croatian TV series), ''Croatian Big Brother'' series that aired for five seasons which was not affiliated with ''Veliki Brat''. Marko Tolja
Marko Tolja (born 3 July 1984) is a Croatian singer. Music career 1984–2005: Early life and education Marko Tolja was born on 3 July 1984 in Rijeka to Koraljka and Darko Tolja. Tolja gained his first musical experiences with his uncle Davor, who sang in the Croatian electropop group Denis & Denis. In 1995, in a duet with Lena Stojiljković, he performed at the children's festival ''Mikić'' (a children's version of the festival ''Melodije Istre i Kvarnera'') and won the first place with the composition "Ča smo mi". During his primary school years, he also attended the Ivan Matetić Ronjgov Music School in Rijeka. During those years he performs at numerous matinees and piano recitals. Supertalent
''Supertalent'' is a Croatian talent show. It is a Croatian license version of the British popular talent show ''Got Talent'' whose authors are Simon Cowell and Ken Warwick. ''Supertalent'' has five big auditions in the Croatian cities of Split, Rijeka, Zadar, Zagreb, and Osijek. After the auditions there is a semi final and a final show where the public choose one winner. The main prize is 30,000 euros. As well as the audience the big part in choosing the candidates is a jury. Member of Croatian jury are: Davor Bilman, Fabijan Pavao Medvešek, Maja Šuput and Martina Tomčić. The presenters of show are Frano Ridjan and Igor Mešin.
