The 2011 Wichita Wild season was the team's fifth season as a professional indoor football franchise and third in the Indoor Football League (IFL). One of twenty-two teams competing in the IFL for the 2011 season, the Park City, Kansas-based Wichita Wild were members of the Great Plains Division of the Intense Conference. Hartman Arena
Hartman Arena is a privately managed 5,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Park City, Kansas, United States. It is located northwest of I-135 and 77th Street North in the north Wichita metro area. History Ground was broken on March 25, 2008, and the arena opened the last week of March 2009. The architecture firm of Law-Kingdon Inc. designed the facility. Tickets.com and Hartman Arena have a multiyear ticketing service agreement. Hartman Arena hosts home games of the Wichita B-52s of the Major Arena Soccer League. It also hosts the Kansas State High School Activities Association Class 6A and 5A State Wrestling Tournaments. They were moved here after one year at Intrust Bank Arena. Omaha Civic Auditorium
Omaha Civic Auditorium was a multi-purpose convention center located in Omaha, Nebraska. Opened in 1954, it surpassed the Ak-Sar-Ben Coliseum as the largest convention/entertainment complex in the city, until the completion of CHI Health Center Omaha in 2003. With the opening of the Ralston Arena in 2012, all teams that played at the Civic Auditorium moved, which reduced the venue's viability. The auditorium closed its doors in June 2014 and was demolished two years later. Facilities Arena The Civic Auditorium arena seated up to 9,300 for sporting events and up to 10,960 for concerts. The 2011 Indoor Football League season was the third season of the Indoor Football League (IFL). The regular season began on Saturday, February 19, 2011, with the Kickoff Classic game, and ended on Sunday, June 12, 2011. Rashad Washington (born March 15, 1980 in Wichita, Kansas) is a former American football safety. Washington now serves as the defensive coordinator for the Texas Revolution of Champions Indoor Football (CIF). He was drafted by the New York Jets in the seventh round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He played college football at Kansas State, and played tailback and defensive back at Wichita Southeast. College career While attending Kansas State University, he played in 49 games (38 on defense and 11 on offense) with 28 starts. He had come into Kansas State as a premier tailback, but made the shift to strong safety as a sophomore. On defense, he finished with 195 tackles, three sacks, three fumble recoveries, three forced fumbles, three interceptions, and two touchdowns. Clinton Solomon
Clinton Solomon (born October 21, 1983) is an American football wide receiver for the Texas Revolution (indoor football), Texas Revolution of Champions Indoor Football (CIF). He played college football at the University of Iowa. College career Solomon signed to play football for the Iowa Hawkeyes on February 1, 2002. After playing as a freshman, Solomon left Iowa due to his poor grades, and attended Iowa Central Community College during the 2003 school year, where he played for the Tritons. After the school year, Solomon returned to the Hawkeyes. Solomon returned to Iowa with a terrific junior season, earning 2nd Team All-Big Ten Conference honors. Professional career NFL After going undrafted in the 2006 NFL Draft, Solomon signed as an undrafted free agent with the St. Louis Rams. He was released on September 1, 2006. Jackson played college football for the TCU Horned Frogs football team. Early life Jackson attended Westside High School in Houston, Texas. The Ector County Coliseum is a 5,131 seat multi-purpose arena in Odessa, Texas. Tenants It is home to the Odessa Jackalopes (North American Hockey League), the West Texas Warbirds (Champions Indoor Football), the Sand Hills Rodeo, and the biennial Permian Basin International Oil Show. The Bricktown Brawlers were a professional indoor football team based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They were a member of the Lonestar Division of the Intense Conference in the Indoor Football League (IFL). The team was founded in 2010 as an expansion member of the IFL.
