The 2011 WAFL Grand Final was an Australian rules football game contested between the Claremont Football Club and the Subiaco Football Club, on 25 September 2011 at Patersons Stadium, to determine the premier team of the West Australian Football League (WAFL) for the 2011 season. Beau Wilkes
Beau Maister (born 20 March 1986 as Beau Wilkes) is an Australian rules footballer who played with St Kilda and the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL) and for the Claremont Football Club in the West Australian Football League (WAFL). Playing career 2005-10: Career with West Coast Maister, then known by his previous surname of Wilkes, was drafted from the rookie list by the Eagles in 2004, 2006 and for the third time following the 2007 season and finally made his AFL debut in the Eagles' upset victory over Adelaide at Subiaco Oval in Round 9 of the 2008 AFL season. David Crawford (Australian Footballer)
David Ian Crawford (born 14 July 1983) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Claremont Football Club in the West Australian Football League (WAFL). Recruited from Aquinas College, Crawford played 200 games for Claremont in various positions between 2002 and 2013, and was a member of Claremont's premiership teams in 2011 and 2012. Crawford also played for Western Australia at state and under-18 level. Football career Born in Mosman Park, Crawford began playing football with the Mosman Park JFC. He attended Aquinas College, where he played in the First XVIII for two years. Crawford also featured in a number of Claremont development squads. Simon McPhee
Simon McPhee (born 21 July 1969) is an Australian rules football coach, currently serving as the Head of Player Academy and Development at the St Kilda Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He previously served as coach of the Claremont Football Club in the West Australian Football League (WAFL), coaching the club to their 2011 premiership win, and had previously served as the head coach of Victorian Football League (VFL) club Sandringham. Byron Schammer (born 21 June 1985) is an Australian rules footballer currently playing with the Claremont Football Club in the West Australian Football League (WAFL). He previously played with the Fremantle Football Club in the Australian Football League. Early life Schammer rose to prominence in 2002 by winning the prestigious Larke Medal for the best player at the AFL Under 18 Championships. Andrew Browne (born 14 May 1984) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Claremont Football Club in the West Australian Football League (WAFL). He formerly played for the Fremantle Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Career Browne was educated at Christ Church Grammar School in Claremont, Western Australia, excelling at both cricket and football. He eventually became captain of both the cricket First XI and the football First XVIII, as well as Senior Sport Prefect. Browne was drafted in the 2001 National Draft as Fremantle's 4th round selection, 52nd overall. He is a midfielder who made his debut in 2002 but only played in a single AFL game for that year. Luke Blackwell (born 9 November 1986 in Melbourne, Victoria) is an Australian rules footballer. He formerly played for Carlton in the Australian Football League (AFL), and for Claremont in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) where he was the winner of the 2011 Sandover Medal. Chad Jonathon Jones (born 15 June 1984) is an Australian rules footballer currently listed with the Claremont Football Club in the West Australian Football League (WAFL), having previously played for the and the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). From Perth, Western Australia, Jones made his debut for Claremont in 2003, and was recruited to the Kangaroos in the 2003 National Draft. Over three seasons at the club, he played six games, kicking a single goal, before being traded to West Coast prior to the 2007 season. Andrew Foster (born 31 August 1985) is an Australian rules footballer, who was rookie listed by the Fremantle Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was taken with Fremantle's second round pick in the 2007 Rookie Draft (pick 28). He is from the East Fremantle Football Club in the West Australian Football League (WAFL). Gerrick Peter Weedon (born 25 May 1991) is an Australian rules footballer who previously played with the Claremont Football Club in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) and the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL).
