The Barnsley Metrodome (Metrodome Leisure Complex) is a sports and leisure facility that was opened in 1989 by Neil Kinnock. Nick Fullwell (born 6 June 1969 in Wolverhampton) is an English professional darts player who plays for the Professional Darts Corporation events. Career Fullwell joined the PDC circuit in 2005 and narrowly missed out qualifying for the World Grand Prix, losing in the final game to Gary Welding. After that, Fullwell struggled to progress in tournaments, failing to qualify for major tournaments, including the UK Open. It wasn't until the end of 2007 where Fullwell began showing some promise, reaching the last 16 in a Player Championship tournament in the Netherlands. He then reached the quarter-finals of the 2008 Bobby Bourn Memorial Trophy. Mark "Flash" Dudbridge (born 11 January 1973) is an English professional darts player. He appeared in the 2005 Premier League Darts after reaching the final of the 2005 PDC World Darts Championship. He also is a former World Master and has reached the final of the World Matchplay. Career Dudbridge started playing in his very early teens, citing Dennis Priestley as one of his heroes. Dudbridge made a name for himself in the British Darts Organisation by winning the Winmau World Masters in 2002, defeating Tony West in the final – in his first televised tournament. He never competed in the BDO version of the World Championship and switched instead to compete in the Professional Darts Corporation. Simon Whitlock
Simon Whitlock (born 3 March 1969) is an Australian professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) tournaments, having also played in the British Darts Organisation (BDO) between 2004 and 2009. He uses the nickname The Wizard for his matches. His walk-on music is "Down Under" by Men at Work. His greatest achievements to date are winning the 2012 European Championship and 2022 World Cup of Darts for Australia with Damon Heta. Steve Beaton (born 5 April 1964) is an English professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He won the BDO World Darts Championship in 1996 and is a former World No. 1. Background Beaton was born in Coventry, Warwickshire, England. Colin Osborne (born 19 June 1975) is an English professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. In 2009, he won the Championship League and reached the final of the UK Open. Darts career Osborne has won two PDC Pro Tour events and he also managed to hit two perfect nine-dart finishes in 2005. Peter Wright (born 10 March 1970) is a Scottish professional darts player who plays in the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC), where he is currently ranked No. 2 in the world. Michael van Gerwen (; born 25 April 1989) is a Dutch professional darts player. He is currently ranked number 3 in the world, having been number 1 from 2014 to 2021. Mark Stephenson (born 29 September 1976) is an English former professional darts player who played in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He was formerly an official, working as a marker. Career Stephenson fell one game short of qualifying for the 2007 PDC World Darts Championship, losing to Alan Tabern. He then fell two rounds short in qualifying for the 2008 PDC World Darts Championship, losing to Kirk Shepherd who eventually qualified and went on to reach the final. Mark Webster (born 12 August 1983) is a Welsh former professional darts player. Nicknamed Webby and The Spider, he played in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Mark Jones (born 21 April 1970) is an English former professional darts player. Career Jones made his television debut at the 2011 UK Open at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton. He lost out 4–9 Colin Osborne in the last 64 earning himself £1,000 in the process. Jones best result to date was reaching the semi-finals at the 2012 UK Open Qualifier 3 in March, defeating the likes of Vincent van der Voort and Jelle Klaasen before losing 6–4 to Brendan Dolan. Jones qualified for the 2013 World Championship by finishing 46th on the ProTour Order of Merit, claiming the 15th of 16 places that were awarded to the highest non-qualified players.
