2011 Scottish Youth Cup Final
The 2011 Scottish Youth Cup Final was the final match of the 2010–11 Scottish Youth Cup, the 27th season of the Scottish Youth Cup. It was played by the U19 sides of Old Firm rivals Celtic and Rangers. Route to the Final Celtic Celtic entered the competition in the third round. They began their campaign against Dundee winning 6–1 at Lennoxtown, thanks to goals from Patrik Twardzik, Callum Bagshaw, Callum McGregor, Stephen O'Donnell and Liam Gormley (2). Celtic then played Airdrie United again at Lennoxtown. Goals by James Keatings, Callum McGregor, Filip Twardzik, Patrik Twardzik and Liam Gormley gave ''The Bhoys'' a comfortable 5–1 win. In the quarter final, Celtic played Stenhousemuir again taking place at Lennoxtown. It took Celtic until the 43rd minute to break the deadlock through James Keatings, the other goals came from Filip Twardzik, Liam Gormley and Bahrudin Atajić therefore Celtic ran out 4–0 winners. 2010–11 Scottish Youth Cup
The 2010–11 Scottish Youth Cup is the 28th season of Scotland's annual competition run by Scottish Football Association. The holders Celtic defeated Rangers 2–0 in last season's final. Calendar Format *First Round - 40 teams are divided geographically. 19 teams go into the Central Group, 10 into the North Group and 11 into the South Group. In this groups teams are played respectively only 3, 2 and 3 matches, while rest of teams go straight into the second round as byes. *Second Round - 8 winners of the first round join 24 teams, who did not play in the previous round. *Third Round - 16 winners of the second round join 16 seeded teams, who started at this stage. *Fourth Round - 16 winners of the third round. *Quarter-finals - 8 winners of the fourth round. *Semi-finals - 4 winners of the quarter-finals. *Final - 2 winners of the semi-finals. Deveronvale Football Club are a senior association football club currently playing the Highland Football League in Scotland. They were founded in 1938 and play their football at the Princess Royal Park in the town of Banff, (formerly Banffshire, now officially Aberdeenshire), Scotland. The club was formed in 1938 when Deveron Valley and Banff Rovers joined together. The name comes from the River Deveron, which has its mouth at Banff. After they were formed, it took them one year to get into the Highland League. In August 1939, Deveronvale played their first league game. Their first win came a month later. Lewis Toshney (born 26 April 1992) is a Scottish professional footballer and coach, who is currently playing for Downfield. Rhys McCabe (born 24 July 1992) is a Scottish footballer and coach who plays as a central midfielder, and is the player-manager for Airdrieonians. McCabe started his senior career with Rangers.
