2010 Penn State Nittany Lions Football Team
The 2010 Penn State Nittany Lions football team represented the Pennsylvania State University in the 2010 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team was coached by Joe Paterno and played its home games in Beaver Stadium in University Park, Pennsylvania. They were members of the Big Ten Conference. Anthony Fera
Anthony Fera (born June 18, 1991) is an American football placekicker and punter who is currently a free agent. Playing career Hailing from Cypress, Texas, Fera attended St. Pius X High School. Fera later attended Penn State, redshirting in 2009. On November 17, 2010, Fera had an emergency appendectomy. In Penn State's 2011 game against Eastern Michigan, Fera became the first Nittany Lion since Chris Bahr in 1975 to be the starter for field goals, kickoffs and punts. Chas Henry (born January 6, 1989) is a former American football punter. Henry played college football for the University of Florida, earned consensus All-American honors, and was recognized as the best college punter as a senior. Derek Robert Moye (born August 12, 1988) is a former American football wide receiver. After playing college football for Penn State, he was signed by the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in 2012. Early years Moye attended Rochester Area High School in Rochester, Pennsylvania, where he was a four-sport standout. In football, he gained over 3100 rushing and receiving yards combined in his junior and senior seasons and scored 53 touchdowns. The Citrus Bowl is an annual college football bowl game played at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. Gator Bowl
The Gator Bowl is an annual college football bowl game held in Jacksonville, Florida, operated by Gator Bowl Sports. It has been held continuously since 1946, making it the sixth oldest college bowl, as well as the first one ever televised nationally. The game was originally played at Gator Bowl Stadium through the December 1993 game. The December 1994 game was played at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville after the namesake stadium was demolished to make way for a replacement venue, Jacksonville Municipal Stadium. Matthew James "Matt" McGloin (born December 2, 1989) is a former American football quarterback. He was the starting quarterback for the Penn State Nittany Lions football team from 2010 to 2012. McGloin was the first walk-on quarterback to start at Penn State since scholarships were reinstated in 1949. Janoris Jermain Jenkins (born October 29, 1988), nicknamed "Jackrabbit", is an American football cornerback for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). 2010 Florida State Seminoles Football Team
The 2010 Florida State Seminoles football team represented Florida State University in the 2010 NCAA Division I FBS college football season. The Seminoles were led by first-year head coach Jimbo Fisher and played their home games at Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium.
