2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards
The 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards took place on November 29, 2011, at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore. The ceremony was the second Mnet Asian Music Awards to occur outside of South Korea, the first being in 2010 when the ceremony took place in Macau, China. The 2011 award show was attended by over 10,000 people. Super Junior won three awards, the most of the night, including Album of the Year for '' Mr. Simple'', Best Male Group, and the special Singapore's Choice Award. Singapore Indoor Stadium
The Singapore Indoor Stadium, known exonymously as the Indoor Stadium, is an indoor arena located in Kallang, Singapore. It is within walking distance of the Singapore National Stadium, and collectively form a part of the wider Singapore Sports Hub. It has a maximum total capacity of 15,000 depending on configuration, with an all-seating configuration of 12,000. It regularly hosts events such as music concerts, badminton, basketball, netball, tennis, esports, pro-wrestling, mixed martial arts, kickboxing, and monster truck races. The Singaporean ONE Championship regularly hosts its events here. In 2015, the Singapore Indoor Stadium sold 72,342 tickets for the entire year. Lee Ji-eun (; born May 16, 1993), also known by her stage name IU (), is a South Korean singer-songwriter, record producer and actress. CNBLUE ( ko, 씨엔블루) is a South Korean pop rock band formed in 2009. The band consists of Jung Yong-hwa (leader, main vocals, guitar, keyboard, rap), Kang Min-hyuk ( drums), and Lee Jung-shin ( bass). First bassist Kwon Kwang-jin left the band after they released their debut Japanese extended play ''Now or Never'' in 2009, and was replaced by Lee Jung-shin. Aziatix
Aziatix was a Korean–American hip hop and R&B trio consisting of members Flowsik, Eddie Shin, and Nicky Lee. The group, which was based in Seoul, South Korea, debuted in 2011 and won Best New Asian Artist at the Mnet Asian Music Awards later that year. In 2013, the group signed a lucrative contract with Cash Money Records, which was the largest record deal to date between a U.S. record label and a music act from Asia.
