2011 Korean Basketball League Draft
The 2011 Korean Basketball League rookie draft (Korean: 2011 KBL 국내신인선수 드래프트) was held on January 31, 2011, at the Education and Cultural Center in Yangjae-dong, Seoul, South Korea. Out of the 44 players who participated in the draft, 35 were selected. Anyang KGC won the lottery for the first overall pick, having finished in eighth place during the 2009–10 season. Oh Se-keun
Oh Se-keun (born 20 May 1987) is a South Korean professional basketball player who plays for Anyang KGC in the Korean Basketball League. Once a mainstay of the South Korean national team, he was a member of the gold medal-winning team at the 2014 Asian Games. Oh is the first South Korean player to record a quadruple-double in any domestic officially-sanctioned adult basketball competition, whether at college or senior level. Early life Oh attended Jemulpo High School in Incheon and captained the basketball team. He was named tournament MVP after leading his team to win the President's Cup and putting up 26 points and 26 assists in the finals. Kim Sun-hyung
Kim Sun-hyung (born July 1, 1988) is a South Korean professional basketball player. He plays for Seoul SK Knights in the Korean Basketball League and the South Korean national team. Early life A native of Incheon, Kim initially harbored dreams of becoming a football player and played football through elementary school. He only switched to basketball in middle school, relatively late compared to many of his KBL counterparts, and then attended Songdo High School, the city's top basketball school. Career College Kim played college basketball for Chung-Ang University, where he was teammates with future KBL MVP Oh Se-keun and roommates with Lee Dae-sung. Changwon LG Sakers
Changwon LG Sakers are a basketball team located in the city of Changwon in South Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. They play in the Korean Basketball League, and their home arena is Changwon Gymnasium which has a capacity for approximately 6,000 people. The team's main sponsor is LG Electronics which has its offices in Changwon. The professional team was established in 1997 and was named Gyeongnam LG Sakers. The name was changed to the Changwon LG Sakers after the first season. LG Sakers has yet to win a KBL championship. The closest they came was in the 2000–01 season, when they finished as runners-up, losing to Suwon Samsung Thunders in the finals. Ever since the club was founded in 1978, they have been associated with Samsung Electronics.
