The 2011 Jelajah Malaysia, a cycling stage race that took place in Malaysia. It was held from 8 to 13 March 2011. There were six stages with a total of 1,011 kilometres. In fact, the race was sanctioned by the Union Cycliste Internationale as a 2.2 category race and was part of the 2010–11 UCI Asia Tour calendar. Mehdi Sohrabi of Iran won the race, followed by David McCann of Ireland second and Ioannis Tamouridis of Greece third overall. Mohamed Harrif Salleh of Malaysia won the points classification and Adiq Husainie Othman of Malaysia won the mountains classification. won the team classification. The 2010–11 UCI Asia Tour was the 7th season of the UCI Asia Tour. The season began on 10 October 2010 with the Kumamoto International Road Race and ended on 30 September 2011 with the Golan II. The points leader, based on the cumulative results of previous races, wears the UCI Asia Tour cycling jersey. Nilai
Nilai is a town located in Seremban District, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, close to the border with Selangor. It is the northern suburb within the Seremban metropolitan area. Due to its proximity to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, it is a rapidly growing town. Batu Caves
Batu Caves ( ta, பத்து மலை : Pathumalai) is a mogote (a type of karst landform) that has a series of caves and cave temples in Gombak, Selangor, Malaysia. It takes its name from the Malay word ''batu'', meaning 'rock'. The hill was originally known as ''Kapal Tanggang'' from the legend of Si Tanggang. The town nearby is named after the Batu Caves limestone formation. The cave is one of the most popular Hindu shrines outside India, and is dedicated to Lord Murugan. It is the focal point of the Tamil festival of Thaipusam in Malaysia.
