2011 Iowa Barnstormers Season
The Iowa Barnstormers season was the 11th season for the franchise, and the 7th in the Arena Football League. The team was coached by J. T. Smith, who took over as interim head coach on May 17 after John Gregory resigned. The Barnstormers played their home games at Wells Fargo Arena. John Gregory (American Football Coach)
John Gregory (November 22, 1938 – December 12, 2022) was an American football head coach. He coached college football and at the professional level in the Canadian Football League (CFL), Arena Football League (AFL), and Indoor Football League (IFL). Coaching career Early years Gregory's first coaching job was at Iowa Central Community College, where he was assistant head coach and athletic director of the new football program. In Gregory's three years there, the program had a 24–3–1 record and won the Wool Bowl in 1969. John Matuszak, who was recruited by Gregory, went on to become the number one pick in the 1973 NFL Draft. His first college head coaching job was at South Dakota State, where he had 55–50–3 record from 1972 to 1981. 2011 Philadelphia Soul Season
The Philadelphia Soul season was the 6th season for the franchise in the Arena Football League. The team was coached by Mike Hohensee and played their home games at Wells Fargo Center. This was the first season for the Soul since they won ArenaBowl XXII in 2008, after the league went on hiatus in 2009 and the franchise was not active in 2010. The Soul finished the season 6–12, and missed the playoffs. Bryan Lee-Lauduski
Bryan Lee-Lauduski (born January 3, 1984) is a former American football quarterback who played one season with the Iowa Barnstormers of the Arena Football League (AFL). He first enrolled at the University of California, Davis before transferring to Southern Oregon University. He attended Carlsbad High School in Carlsbad, California. Early years Lee-Lauduski played high school football for the Carlsbad High School Lancers. He was named All-Conference his senior year. College career Lee-Lauduski played for the UC Davis Aggies from 2004 to 2005. He played for the Southern Oregon Raiders from 2006 to 2008. He started all nine games for the Raiders in 2007, completed 187 of 336 passes for 2,083 yards and 17 touchdowns. In 2008, Lee-Lauduski was named to the pre-season NAIA All-Independent second team. 2011 Georgia Force Season
The Georgia Force season was the eighth season for the franchise in the Arena Football League. The team was coached by Dean Cokinos and played their home games at the Arena at Gwinnett Center. This was the first season for the Force since 2008, after the league went on hiatus in 2009 and the franchise was not active in 2010. In the regular season, the Force went 11–7, qualifying for the playoffs as the 3rd seed in the American Conference. The Bradley Center (also known as the BMO Harris Bradley Center under sponsorship agreements) was a multi-purpose arena located on the northwest corner of North Vel R. Phillips Ave. and West State Streets in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. It was home to the Milwaukee Bucks of the NBA and the Marquette University men's basketball team. Allstate Arena is a multi-purpose arena in Rosemont, Illinois, United States. It is located near the intersection of Mannheim Road and Interstate 90, adjacent to the city limits of Chicago and O'Hare International Airport. The Arizona Rattlers season was the 20th season for the franchise in the Arena Football League. The team was coached by Kevin Guy and played their home games at US Airways Center. In the regular season, the Rattlers won a league-record 16 games, having lost only two, to secure home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. The Orlando Predators season was the 20th season for the franchise in the Arena Football League. The team was coached by Pat O'Hara. This was the Predators' first season at Amway Center. The Predators finished the regular season 11–7, qualifying for the playoffs for the 19th consecutive season. Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena
VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena (originally Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena) is a multi-purpose arena located in Jacksonville, Florida. It currently serves as the home arena of the Jacksonville Icemen of the ECHL, the Jacksonville Giants of the American Basketball Association, and the Jacksonville Sharks of the National Arena League. About The arena was built in 2003 as part of the Better Jacksonville Plan to replace the Jacksonville Coliseum. On March 12, 2019, a 19–0 vote led to VyStar Credit Union becoming a sponsor for the arena. The 15-year agreement includes an annual contribution to the veterans trust fund along with upkeep of the arena.
