2011 IIHF World Championship Division II
The 2011 IIHF World Championship Division II were international Ice Hockey tournaments run by the International Ice Hockey Federation. Group A was contested from 4–10 April 2011 in Melbourne, Australia and Group B was contested from 10 to 16 April 2011 in Zagreb, Croatia. Prior to the start of the tournament the North Korean national team announced they would withdraw, citing financial reasons. All games against them were counted as a forfeit, with a score of 5–0 for the opposing team. This was the last year of parallel divisional tournaments so teams that finished third and above formed Group A for 2012, and the lower finishers formed Group B. 2010 IIHF World Championship Division II
The 2010 IIHF World Championship Division II was an international ice hockey tournament run by the International Ice Hockey Federation. The tournament was contested from April 10–17, 2010. Participants in this tournament were separated into two separate tournament groups. The Group A tournament was contested in Naucalpan, Mexico. Group B's games were played in Narva, Estonia. Spain and Estonia won Group A and Group B, respectively, to earn promotion to Division I at the 2011 IIHF World Championship. Meanwhile, Turkey and Israel finished last in Group A and B and were relegated to Division III for 2011. The four teams were replaced by Serbia and Croatia, which were relegated from Division I, and Ireland and North Korea which earned promotion from Division III. Nemanja ( sr-Cyrl, Немања) is a masculine Serbian given name. Nathan Walker
Nathan Walker (born 7 February 1994) is a Welsh-born Australian professional ice hockey Forward (ice hockey), forward who is currently playing for the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League (NHL). Walker, who was born in Wales, grew up in Australia and first played ice hockey there. He moved to the Czech Republic in 2007 in order to further his career, and joined the junior program of HC Vítkovice, a member of the Czech Extraliga. He first played for the senior team in 2011, becoming the first Australian ice hockey player to play for a professional senior team in Europe. Along with HC Vítkovice, Walker was loan (sports), loaned to several lower-level Czech teams. In 2013 Walker signed with the Youngstown Phantoms of the junior United States Hockey League, moving to North America for the first time.
