2011 Global Champions Tour
The 2011 Global Champions Tour was the 6th staging of the Global Champions Tour (GCT), an important international show jumping competition series. The series was held mainly in Europe, three competitions was held outside of Europe. All competitions was endowed at least 285000 Euro, €. All GCT events was held as Concours de Saut International, CSI 5*. The competitions was held between March 17, 2011 and November 12, 2011. There was no final. At the end of the season the best 18 riders in the final overall standings had got a bonus prize money. Global Champions Tour
The Longines Global Champions Tour (LGCT) is an annual pre-eminent individual show jumping series that comprises up to 15 rounds of competition hosted around the world. It brings together the top 30 riders in the FEI Jumping World Rankings. It was founded in 2006 by the Olympic gold medalist Jan Tops. Member of the Monaco royal family Charlotte Casiraghi is Honorary President of the Jumping International de Monte-Carlo leg of the tour and regular high-profile competitors include Athina Onassis, Georgina Bloomberg (who also owns a team which competes in the Global Champions League), Jessica Springsteen, Sofia Abramovich, Guillaume Canet and Jennifer Gates. Janne Friederike Meyer
Janne Friederike Meyer (born 12 January 1981 in Hamburg) is a German rider who competes in show jumping. She was part of the German team winning the gold medal at the 2010 FEI World Equestrian Games. In 2012 Meyer participated in the 2012 Summer Olympics, Summer Olympics in London as part of the German show jumping team with her horse Lambrasco. As of 31 May 2012 she is ranked 47th in the Rolex World Rankings. Early life and competitive career Janne Friederike Meyer has been involved in riding and equestrian sports since her early childhood. Aged six she had her first own pony called Mücke. From 1993 to 1999 she competed in regional championships in the pony- and junior-category, winning several medals and titles. Chantilly ( , ) is a commune in the Oise department in the Valley of the Nonette in the Hauts-de-France region of Northern France. Chantilly Racecourse
Chantilly Racecourse (In French: "Hippodrome de Chantilly") is a Thoroughbred turf racecourse for flat racing in Chantilly, Oise, France, about north of the centre of the city of Paris. Chantilly Racecourse is located in the country's main horse training area on 65 hectares next to the Chantilly Forest. A right-handed course, it was built with interlocking tracks. The main course is 2,400 metres long, with another at 2,150 metres, plus a round course adaptable from 1,400 to 2,400 metres. Luciana Diniz (born 11 October 1970) is a Brazilian-born Portuguese equestrian whose discipline is show jumping. She currently ranks thirteenth on the FEI Rolex Ranking List. In addition to her show jumping work, Diniz is also known for G.R.O.W., an "informal education philosophy" that teaches adults and children. Christian Ahlmann (born 17 December 1974 in Marl, North Rhine-Westphalia) is a German equestrianism, equestrian who competes in the sport of show jumping.
