2011 Fordham Rams Football Team
The 2011 Fordham Rams football team represented Fordham University in the 2011 NCAA Division I FCS football season. The Rams were led by sixth year head coach Tom Masella and played their home games at Coffey Field. They are a member of the Patriot League. Fordham was not eligible for the Patriot League championship because they used scholarship players while the rest of the league's members did not. Tom Masella
Tom Masella (born July 11, 1959) is an American football coach and former player. He is the head football coach at Wagner College, a position he has held since 2020. Massella served as the head football coach at Boston University from 1996 to 1997, Central Connecticut State University from 2004 to 2005, and Fordham University from 2006 to 2007. After serving as an assistant at Wagner College, the United States Merchant Marine Academy, and Boston University, Masella became the first head coach of the Fairfield University football team. He left prior to their first game to return to Boston University, thus was the only coach at Fairfield who never coached a game. Masella coached BU to a 2–20 over two seasons before the university dropped football. Cooper Field
Cooper Field, formerly known as Harbin Field and Multi-Sport Field, is a 3,750-seat multi-purpose stadium in Washington, D.C. on the campus of Georgetown University. The field was originally used for intramurals and was adopted for soccer in 1994 as Harbin Field. The name was changed to "Multi-Sport Field", a placeholder pending final construction, to reflect the football team's use of the field starting in 2003. In 2015, Georgetown changed the name to Cooper Field in honor of a $50 million gift from Peter and Susan Cooper which funded athletic leadership programs at Georgetown and construction upgrades to the field. Michie Stadium is an outdoor football stadium on the campus of the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, New York. The 2011 Army Black Knights football team represented the United States Military Academy as an independent in the 2011 NCAA Division I FBS football season.
