The 2011 Faroe Islands Cup was the 57th edition of the Faroe Islands domestic football cup. It started on 26 March 2011 and ended with the final on 8 August 2011. EB/Streymur is a Faroe Islands, Faroese semi-professional association football, football club based in Streymnes and Eiði. The club was founded in 1993, as result of the merger between Eiðis Bóltfelag, EB and Ítróttarfelagið Streymur, Streymur. They have won the Faroe Islands Premier League twice and the Faroe Islands Cup four times. History The club is a result of a merger in 1993 between Eiðis Bóltfelag, who were founded on 23 February 1913, and Ítróttarfelagid Streymur, Streymur, founded in 1976. Prior to the merger, both Eiðis Bóltfelag, EB Eiði and Streymur usually played their football in the second or third division. After the merger in 1993, the team still resided in the lower divisions, but this soon changed. With a newly built football ground at Mølin, Eiði, and a healthy injection of young talent, EB/Streymur chased promotion to the top flight. B68 Toftir is a Faroese football club, playing in the village of Toftir in Betri deildin. History After being promoted to the 1. deild (now called Effodeildin) in 1980, they won the league 3 times: in 1984, 1985, and 1992. In 2004 they were relegated. 2005 saw them bounce back to the top flight, coming first in the second division, but they were again relegated from the Premier Division at end of the 2006 season. In 2007, they easily won the second division, and were promoted. In the 2008 season, they came 6th out of 10 in the Premier League. In the 2009 season, they finished in 4th place. In 2010, they finished as number 7 in the Effodeildin, and in 2011, they finished as number 6. In 2012, B68 Toftir ended as number 9 in Effodeildin and were relegated: they only needed to score one more goal against TB Tvøroyri in the final round to stay up. Daniel Udsen
Daniel Udsen (born 2 September 1983 ) is a former Faroese footballer of Danish descent, whose primary position was in midfield. Club career Udsen has previously played for Hvidovre IF and Albertslund IF in Denmark. During his stay at Albertslund he was in the team that won the official Danish Indoor Football championship, after a 5–4 victory in the final against Hellerup IK, at the Aarup Sports Centre in January 2005. In the summer of 2005, he signed for Greve Fodbold, who were then playing in the Denmark Series. He debuted for the first team in August 2005 against Farum BK (consisting of the FC Nordsjælland reserves) and also scored on his debut. In his first season at the club in the 2005–06 season, he scored 9 goals and helped the team win promotion to the Danish 2nd Division when Greve Football won the Denmark Series Pool 1. Arnbjørn Hansen
Arnbjørn Theodor Hansen (; born 27 February 1986 in Eiði) is a Faroese football striker who plays for EB/Streymur in the Faroe Islands Premier League. He has also played for the Faroe Islands national team from 2006 to 2014. As of 20 November 2020 he has played 288 matches and scored 155 goals in the Faroe Islands Premier League Career Arnbjørn Theodor Hansen has some good skills in handball and football. Through his younger years he played with HB and EB/Streymur. When Arnbjørn was at HB, he was 12 years old. The away goals rule is a method of tiebreaker, tiebreaking in association football and other sports when teams play each other twice, once at each team's home ground. B36 Tórshavn ( fo, Bóltfelagið 1936 Tórshavn) is a Faroe Islands, Faroese semi professional Association football, football club based in the capital of Tórshavn, playing in the Faroe Islands Premier League, the top tier of Faroese football. B36 Tórshavn has always played its home games in Gundadalur. Originally all Faroese football teams played on gravel grounds, but starting in the late 1980s the grounds were changed into second generation artificial turf.
