2011 FIM Superstock 1000 Cup
The 2011 FIM Superstock 1000 Cup was the thirteen season of the FIM Superstock 1000 Cup, the seventh held under this name. The championship, a support class to the Superbike World Championship at its European rounds, used 1000 cc motorcycles and was reserved for riders between 16 and 26 years of age. The season was contested over ten races, beginning at TT Circuit Assen on 17 April and ending at Algarve International Circuit on 16 October. 2011 Superbike World Championship
The 2011 Superbike World Championship was the twenty-fourth season of the Superbike World Championship. It began on 27 February at Phillip Island and finished on 16 October in Portimão after 13 rounds. The knockout system introduced for Superpole in 2009 was revised as the number of riders admitted to the first two sessions was reduced from twenty to sixteen and from sixteen to twelve respectively. Ducati no longer competed with a factory team in 2011, after 23 seasons which had brought the marque a total of 29 riders' and manufacturers' championship titles, instead limiting its participation to privateer teams running their works bikes. Aprilia's gear-driven camshafts on its RSV4 motorcycle – which won the title in with Max Biaggi – was banned for the 2011 season. Silverstone Circuit
Silverstone Circuit is a motor racing circuit in England, near the Northamptonshire villages of Towcester, Silverstone and Whittlebury. It is the home of the British Grand Prix, which it first hosted as the 1948 British Grand Prix. The 1950 British Grand Prix at Silverstone was the first race in the newly created World Championship of Drivers. The race rotated between Silverstone, Aintree and Brands Hatch from 1955 to 1986, but settled permanently at the Silverstone track in 1987. Lorenzo Savadori (born 4 April 1993) is a motorcycle racer from Italy, He was the 2015 FIM Superstock 1000 Cup winner and thItalia 2020 CIV Superbike Champion acting as test rider for Aprilia with occasional wild card race entries. Sheridan Morais (born 11 March 1985) is a motorcycle racer from South Africa. He has competed in the Superbike World Championship, the Supersport World Championship, the FIM Superstock 1000 Cup and the Endurance FIM World Championship. He competed in the Asia Road Race SS600 Championship, aboard a Yamaha YZF-R6 and completed his first ever road race as a wildcard for the German Penz13.com team in Frohburg in September 2019, as the team was sitting out of the first round of the FIM Endurance World Championship 2019/2020 season. Markus Reiterberger (born 9 March 1994) is a German motorcycle racer. Career In 2007 and 2008 he was a contestant of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup; in 2010 he was champion in the German Yamaha Cup and in 2013, 2015 and 2017 he won the IDM Superbike Championship. Andrea Antonelli (17 January 1988 – 21 July 2013) was an Italian Motorcycle racing, motorcycle racer.
