2011 FIBA Africa Basketball Club Championship
The 2011 FIBA Africa Basketball Club Championship (26th edition), was a basketball tournament held in Morocco from December 12 to 21, 2011. The tournament, organized by FIBA Africa and hosted by AS Salé, took place at the Salle El Bouâzzaoui, in the city of Salé. Tunisian side Étoile Sportive du Sahel won the tournament. 2010 FIBA Africa Clubs Champions Cup
The 2010 FIBA Africa Basketball Club Championship (25th edition), was an international basketball tournament held in Cotonou, Benin from 10 December to 19 December 2010. The tournament, organized by FIBA Africa, and hosted by ASO Modele, was contested by 11 clubs split into 2 groups, the top four of which qualifying for the knock-out stage, quarter, semi-finals and final. Hamdi Braa
Hamdi Braa (born 7 September 1986) is a Tunisian basketball player for Stade Nabeulien in the Championnat National A. Braa has played professionally since 2004. He helped the club to the 2007 Tunisian Championship. Braa is a member of the Tunisia national basketball team that finished third at the 2009 FIBA Africa Championship to qualify for the country's first FIBA World Championship. Braa averaged 5 PPG and 3.6 RPG for the Tunisians during the tournament. Atef Maoua (born January 28, 1981) is a Tunisian basketball player. He currently plays for J.S. Kairouan in the Tunisian Basketball League. He is a six-foot-six-inch, 218 pound guard-forward. Maoua is also a long-time member of the Tunisia national basketball team. Mário “Marito” Correia (born March 17, 1978 in Praia, Cape Verde) is a Cape Verdean professional basketball player. He played for Primeiro de Agosto at the Angolan Basketball League until 2014, before being struck by injury. Correia’s early introduction to basketball started in the District Sports Association Kwame Nkrumah abbreviated to ADESBA-KN. Correia is currently the captain of the Cape Verde national basketball team and helped Cape Verde to a bronze medal at the FIBA Africa Championship 2007, qualifying for a wildcard tournament for the 2008 Summer Olympics. Zakaria El Masbahi (born 3 March 1979) is a Moroccan basketball player currently playing for AS Salé in the Nationale 1. Career El Masbahi is a member of the Morocco national basketball team.
