2011 Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0
The 2011 Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 season was the 21st Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 season. The season commenced on 16 April at Alcañiz and ended on 9 October at Barcelona. The season features seven double-header rounds, with each race lasting for a duration of 30 minutes. All races were part of the World Series by Renault. Josef Kaufmann Racing's Robin Frijns who is also last Formula BMW Europe champion won five races on his way to the championship by a 45-point margin over another former Formula BMW driver Carlos Sainz Jr., who won opening race on Ciudad del Motor de Aragón and Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. Frijns finished in the top five in every race. The same point margin was between Sainz and his third placed teammate Daniil Kvyat, who also won two races on Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps and Nürburgring. Tech 1 Racing is a racing team based in Toulouse, France. They currently compete in the World Series by Renault and Eurocup Mégane Trophy. Tech 1 also operate the Panis Racing LMP2 entry to the European Le Mans Series and the Ultimate LMP2 Pro-Am entry to the FIA World Endurance Championship. MP Motorsport (previously Marcel Peters Motorsport) is a Dutch auto racing team currently competing in the FIA Formula 2 Championship. Epsilon Euskadi
EPIC Racing (Euskadi Phil Imanol Claudio Racing) was a racing team from Spain. The team's headquarters were located in Vitoria ( Alava). It was the second major motorsport team from the Basque Country, (Euskadi). Epsilon Euskadi was the biggest one and ran their own team in World Series by Renault and Formula Renault before selling the racing division to EPIC Racing in March 2011 in a bid to run the World Series by Renault with both FR3.5 and FR2.0 when Epsilon Euskadi ran into financial trouble and allowed all personnel involved to maintain their jobs. Sandy Nicholas Stuvik ( th, แซนดี้ นิโคลัส สตูวิค; born 11 April 1995), also referred to as Sandy Kraokaew Stuvik, is a Thai racing driver. Career Karting Born in Phuket to a Norwegian father, Martin Stuvik, and a Thai mother. Stuvik began karting in 2002 in the local karting championships. He progressed to the Rotax Max Junior category by 2008, continuing to compete in local karting championships. Gustavo Menezes (born 19 September 1994) is an American racing driver, currently racing for Peugeot Sport in the FIA World Endurance Championship. Career Karting Menezes began karting in 2002, but took his first championship in 2005 in the IKF Region 7 Sprint - HPV 1 Cadet. In 2008 he began karting outside the United States.
